Cream's oldest surviving live recording, the show at Crooks Creek, London on November 15, 1966, is now available on CD in the best quality. First of all, this precious live recording from their early days after the band was formed in 1966 was said to be the master of the official promotional acetate recording due to its high quality, but it was later discovered to be an audience recording. Still, it is true that they boasted such high quality, and it is also nice that the acetate-specific noise that was seen in the early leaks has been almost completely eliminated. And Clapton, who used a Les Paul Burst at the time, played in a wild style that was unthinkable after the 70s, with few long improvisations and a tight playing style like the Bluesbreakers. And with the intense drum fills and Jack's bass phrases that are more assertive than the singing, it is truly the origin of the trio band. 01. Lawdy Mama / 02. Sleepy Time Time / 03. Crossroads / 04.
