Christopher Cross, who captivated us with his unchanging crystal voice in the 90s, has decided to reissue the out-of-print official video. This work contains a multi-camera pro shot of the "March 18, 1998 Santa Ana performance". This is a DVD that reprints the official video work "AN EVENING WITH CHRISTOPHER CROSS" released in 1999. This is an out-of-print work that can be said to be the video version of "GREATEST HITS LIVE". Some of you may have already guessed it, but this stage was first released as a live album. It was the second disc of "WALKING IN AVALON", which was a coupling with the new studio work. After that, this album was released in two parts: the studio version "RED ROOM" and the live album version "GREATEST HITS LIVE". Along with that, "AN EVENING WITH CHRISTOPHER CROSS" was released as a video version of the same live performance. It was a dignified official live work of the regular release, but it was soon out of print due to the fate of music videos at that time. Perhaps because this work was the last one to leave the CMC label, it became a phantom masterpiece that has not been reissued to this day. This work is a reprint of such a masterpiece video from the best master. Since the original is an official product, the quality is completely official. Although the shooting itself has an analog feel only in the 90s, the image quality and sound quality are perfect. Furthermore, since it is a performance that is premised on commercialization, the lighting and camera work are elaborated, and it is a highly finished video that looks like a work of art. The number of masterpieces and luxurious guests that are increased from the live album Such a visual beauty is depicted as a treasure chest of masterpieces that condenses three eras (70s / 80s / 90s). In fact, there are more songs than the live album version of "GREATEST HITS LIVE", so let's organize them by comparing them. Warner era (13 songs)・Man from the South: Never Be The Same/Sailing/Minstrel Gigolo/Say You'll Be Mine (★: with Doug Legacy)/Ride Like The Wind (with Michael McDonald)・Another Page: Think Of Laura/Words Of Wisdom (★)/Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do)/All Right・Other: Back Of My Mind/Every Turn Of The World/Swept Away/Alibi CMC era (5 songs)・Rendezvous: Rendezvous/Deputy Dan/In the Blink of an Eye/Is There Something・Window: Open Up My Window *Note: The ★ mark indicates a song that was cut from the live album "GREATEST HITS LIVE" from the same day. ...And so on. The two songs that were not on the live album were "Words Of Wisdom" and "Say You'll Be Mine". The latter in particular features Doug Legacy as a guest. At that time, Doug also released a Zydeco (New Orleans folk music) album, and his beautiful accordion adds a touch of glamour. Another luxurious guest is "Ride Like The Wind." Michael McDonald appears in this song. He is in charge of not only keyboards but also backing vocals. Just like the original, he layers his voice with crossovers. It is truly a "GREATEST HITS LIVE to watch with your eyes" and a "moving best album." This is an out-of-print official video that condenses the glorious career into one stage, with more songs and guests than the live album version. A multi-camera pro shot of the "Santa Ana performance on March 18, 1998." This is a DVD reprint of the out-of-print official out-of-print work, with footage from the same stage as the live album "GREATEST HITS LIVE." Naturally, it is a completely official release, and includes "Words Of Wisdom" and "Say You'll Be Mine", which were cut from "GREATEST HITS LIVE". You can also enjoy a collaboration with Michael McDonald on "Ride Like The Wind". The Galaxy Theatre, Santa Ana, CA, USA 10th March 1998 PRO-SHOT 1. Rendezvous 2. Never Be The Same 3.
