In 2013, Chick Corea's musical history was broadcasted from his live performance with the Lincoln Center Orchestra in New York for three days, and fans recorded the stage on May 17th and 18th in official quality sound. A 4-disc set of treasure sound sources has appeared. The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra is known for its most stylish performances in New York, and is made up of a selection of up-and-coming jazz musicians. This time, over two days, you can listen to the stage performance that became a hot topic due to the dream collaboration with Chick Corea. It is no exaggeration to say that the songs being played are truly part of Chic's history, as you can see from the setlist. Famous songs such as ``The Matrix,'' ``Crystal Silent,'' and ``Tones for Jones Bones,'' released in 1968, shine fresh in ensemble with a big band. Furthermore, the masterpiece "You're Everything", which begins with a duo of Chick's piano and Marsalis' melancholy trumpet, is performed in a heart-pounding arrangement. In the take on the 17th, Chick's piano solo is followed by Marsalis' trumpet, but in the take on the 18th the next day, it starts with Marsalis' trumpet. In other words, although the same songs are played over the two days, you can hear different solo parts in many of the songs.
