This is a two-disc live recording of 14 songs recorded on FM radio broadcasting at the Hamburg State Opera on October 21st, 1983, during the European tour accompanying the release of the album "Lyric Suite for Sextet" on ECM. In the second half, a string quartet joins in to recreate "Lyric Suite for Sextet". Since the rare masterpiece "Crystal Silence" released by ECM Records in 1973, many live recordings by the duo have been released by Mega Disc, but this is the first time that a live performance from the 1983 world tour will be released. In the first part recorded on disc 1, the two improvise in perfect harmony on "Falling Grace", "La Feista", and even "All Blues", and the arrangements of each song are a masterpiece that you should listen to. Now, in the second part of disc 2, a string quartet is added, and the album "Lyric Suite for Sextet" is reproduced perfectly in the order of the songs on the album for about an hour, and the emotional live performance that cannot be experienced in a studio recording is now vividly revived. Furthermore, the gorgeous and luxurious ensemble is not to be missed. After the encore, "Castles of Isfahan" is played, and the famous live performance of the century that is sure to impress you has appeared.
