This is a live recording of "Electric Band II", the successor to "Electric Band", the band that Chick Corea led after Return to Forever. Incidentally, there was also "Acoustic Band" which was active in parallel, but this seems to refer mainly to Chick's instruments rather than the whole band. In this "Electric Band", acoustic instruments such as saxophone also participate, but Chick plays electric piano and synthesizer. Remastered from a good audience recording, although the sound quality is a bit sharp. The problem was not the sound quality, but the fact that the audience nearby was talking between songs, so it has been carefully edited with great care. This is a valuable recording that was not available until recently. Recorded Live at Toad's Place, New Haven, CT, October 28, 1993 EXCELLENT Audience Recording // 96 min DISC 1 01. C.T.A. 02.
