CHICAGO is about to come to Japan for the first time in eight years. The latest video of their gorgeous collaboration with EARTH, WIND & FIRE has arrived. This work was filmed at the Nashville performance on August 20, 2024. This is a superb audience shot. Speaking of their video report, the masterpiece "KANSAS 2024: FRONT ROW" is still fresh in our memory, but this work is actually a slightly different tour. In order to explain the situation around there, let's first take a look at the overview of their current activities.・February 11th-March 9th: North America #1 (16 performances) ・May 15th-June 2nd: North America #2 (11 performances) ←※KANSAS 2024 “HEART & SOUL Tour” ・July 10th-September 14th: North America #3 (33 performances) ←★Here★ ・September 22nd-24th: Japan (2 performances) ・September 27th-29th: Hawaii (2 performances) ・October 22nd-November 17th: North America #4 (17 performances) This is the 2024 schedule that has been announced so far. “KANSAS 2024: FRONT ROW” was a part of “North America #2”, but the “North America #3” that followed was the “HEART & SOUL Tour” coupled with EARTH, WIND & FIRE. The Nashville performance in this work was the 23rd concert. This tour is a double headliner format with both heroes taking turns to perform as the final act, and on this day the sequence was "CHICAGO → EW&F → Collaborative Encore". This work allows you to experience the "CHICAGO" and "Collaborative Encore" scenes with a spectacular view. The view is truly ultimate. It was shot from the very front of the arena (probably around the third row), but when you look up a little, the audience in front is almost invisible, and only the stage spreads out with zero obstructions, which is essentially the same as the front row. Moreover, the center of the stage is directly in front. The "Bridgestone Arena" where the event took place can accommodate up to 20,000 people, but it is the only super-premium seat among them. Furthermore, the camera work, which makes full use of the best part of that position, is also brilliant. The simple answer is "no zoom". There is no need to zoom because the members are in front of you, but the human eye does not have a zoom function in the first place. This work allows you to experience the experience of a super-premium seat with the naked eye. Of course, even if the camerawork is bland, it is not without its own merits. The camerawork, which follows the highlights and moves from side to side, is extremely stable, and the smoothness of the slow movements makes it extremely easy to watch. It is a VIP shot of a relaxed and unhurried VIP enjoying the best seats in the venue. From such a special seat, you can enjoy the latest main set, which seems to predict the upcoming Japanese performance, and the encore of a luxurious collaboration. Let's summarize it here. CHICAGO's main set Columbia era: Ballet For A Girl In Buchannon (Make Me Smile/So Much To Say, So Much To Give/Anxiety's Moment/West Virginia Fantasies/Colour My World/To Be Free/Now More Than Ever) Others: Dialogue (Part I & II)/Call On Me/If You Leave Me Now/Old Days/Beginnings/I'm a Man/Just You 'n' Me/Saturday In The Park/Feelin' Stronger Every Day Full Moon era: Hard Habit To Break/You're The Inspiration/Hard To Say I'm Sorry-Get Away Encore: CHICAGO numbers: Free/Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?/25 Or 6 To 4 Others: In The Stone/Sing A Song/Got To Get You Into My Life ... and so on. The main set is similar to "KANSAS 2024: FRONT ROW", but the highlight is the super luxurious encore. This "luxury" does not simply mean that both bands are famous. Both bands are known for being large, so I don't know if everyone was there, but the stage was full of people and instruments. The members were so crowded that you gave up counting because people were hiding in the shadows, and the number alone was very impressive. And with this super large ensemble, the two bands performed their repertoires together. They played two or three songs each, and also selected the Beatles' "Got To Get You Into My Life," which has been featured in both bands' solo performances. It's great as a preparation before coming to Japan, and even the biggest festival encore in the music scene. This is the definitive super special seat shot where you can enjoy all of that from the front seat. A once-in-a-lifetime music experience. A superb audience shot of the "August 20, 2024 Nashville performance". There was nothing obstructing the view taken from the front of the arena (probably about the third row), and the center of the stage was right in front of me. In addition to the latest full show, you can also enjoy a super large-scale encore with EARTH, WIND & FIRE in such a super special seat. Bridgestone Arena, Nashville, TN, USA 20th August 2024 1.
