Congratulations! CHEAP TRICK has decided to come to Japan!! Their first Japan tour in 3 years will be held in November 2016, and their latest live album has arrived, igniting the excitement in their hearts and making them explode! They have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and their new album "BANG, ZOOM, CRAZY... HELLO" is doing well, but they are currently in the middle of the "ROCK HALL THREE FOR ALL TOUR" with fellow Hall of Famers HAERT and JOAN JETT. This luxury tour is circuiting North America with a total of 31 performances (I wish all three groups would come to Japan...), but this work is the 6th performance, "July 22, 2016 Cincinnati This is the audience album for "Performance"...right? I apologize all of a sudden. This work is certainly an audience recording. There is no doubt that the recorder himself has declared it publicly available. However, the sound you hear is not what you would expect from an “audience recording”. Rather than “just like a sound board”, it is a very close and very clear sound that makes you think “Isn’t it really a sound board!?” Of course, it contains the reality, presence, and big applause that are unique to a guest record, but far from interfering with the extremely close and clear musical tone, it is beautiful as if carefully and precisely mixed. It's so ideal that I want to call it "just like official." I don't know if this taper also recorded HAERT and JOAN JETT, but if they did, I would definitely like to listen to it. The latest show drawn with such high quality sound is the usual, never-changing CHEAP TRICK section. The set was short since it was a coupling tour, but the density of hit songs and performance was amazing. It's surprising that there aren't such classics as "Ain't That a Shame," "I Know What I Want," "Auf Wiedersehen," and "On Top Of The World," but it's also a super song that you can't miss. It's full of famous songs (these famous songs are being played every day on the current tour, so I'm looking forward to seeing them when they come to Japan in November). Now, if you ask me if it's completely "business as usual," that's also different. The old and new spices are also effective in Golden Hits. The nostalgic debut song "Elo Kiddies", THE VELVET UNDERGROUND's cover "I'm Waiting for the Man", and the new song "Blood Red Lips" are also available for the first time.
