CHEAP TRICK in 1978, which released a series of historic masterpieces and reached its peak in one fell swoop. The master reel of the iconic soundboard has been unexpectedly unearthed! This work is engraved with the "June 10, 1978 Boston performance." It is a stereo soundboard recording. 1978 was the heyday of the band's legendary first visit to Japan, when "HEAVEN TONIGHT" and "AT BUDOKAN" were also released in succession. First, let's take a bird's-eye view of their progress and confirm the position of this work.・January 2nd-21st: North America #1 (8 shows) ・March 7th-April 2nd: Europe (19 shows) ・April 20th: Pocatello show ・April 25th-May 1st: Japan debut (6 shows) ←※AT BUDOKAN《HEAVEN TONIGHT released May 24th》 ・May 26th-October 1st: North America #2 (72 shows) ←★Here《AT BUDOKAN released October 8th》 ・December 7th-17th: North America #3 (10 shows) ・December 26th-31st: North America #4 (6 shows) This was CHEAP TRICK in 1978. There are few bands in the rock world more crazy about live shows than these guys, but they were especially insane in the '70s. 1978 was no exception, with the release of "HEAVEN TONIGHT" shortly after their first visit to Japan, and the massive "North America #2" tour began immediately. The Boston performance featured on this album was their 13th performance, approximately six weeks after "AT BUDOKAN." This show was broadcast on the American radio station "WBCN" and has spawned numerous previously released releases. This album is the highest-quality update of this classic soundboard. It's a new master released by the prestigious excavation company "Krw_co," digitized directly from the WBCN 10.5-inch reel. The sound is truly an upgrade. While the previous master was quite harsh and piercing, this album is remarkably vivid and natural. Of course, the edges aren't rounded; the core density has increased while the fine details remain, and the sound has become more lustrous. Moreover, this album's unique mastering brings out even greater heights. The original sound from the internet still retained its original sharpness, but this work has been beautifully treated. Based on "AT BUDOKAN," the original sound has been reproduced as accurately as possible, and the fast pitch has been adjusted just right. It's even more vivid than "AT BUDOKAN," while also achieving the beauty and ease of listening that rivals the legendary live album. Such a top-notch sound depicts a stage that is similar but not identical to "AT BUDOKAN." Let's organize the sets by comparing them here. Heaven's Trap (6 songs), Stiff Competition (★★), On Top Of The World (★★), High Roller (★), Surrender, California Man (★), Auf Wiedersehen (★), and others (8 songs). Pale Highway: Oh Caroline (★), Hello There, Come On, Come On, Big Eyes, Clock Strikes Ten, Southern Girls (★). Others: Need Your Love, Goodnight Now. *Note: Tracks marked with a "★" are tracks not available on the official "AT BUDOKAN" album. Tracks marked with a "★★" are tracks not available on "AT BUDOKAN: THE COMPLETE CONCERT" either. Six tracks each from "IN COLOR" and "HEAVEN TONIGHT" have been selected, with "Need Your Love" and "Goodnight Now" added. A large number of tracks from the just-released "HEAVEN TONIGHT" have been added, allowing you to enjoy plenty of songs not available on the official "AT BUDOKAN" album. This soundboard album has undergone a major upgrade, elevating a long-standing classic to the status of a "sequel to AT BUDOKAN." Boasting the same band potential as rock's legendary live album, it offers a more vivid sound and a delicious selection of "HEAVEN TONIGHT" repertoire. A must-have. A stereo soundboard recording of the June 10, 1978 Boston concert. Directly digitized from WBCN's 10.5-inch reels, this is the ultimate update. The previously edgy sound has been significantly upgraded, and the "HEAVEN TONIGHT" tracks not heard on "AT BUDOKAN" are now available, allowing you to enjoy the concert from approximately six weeks later. This truly is a "sequel to AT BUDOKAN." The Paradise Theater, Boston, MA, USA 10th June 1978 STEREO SBD UPGRADE!!! (72:17) 1. WBCN Intro 2. Oh Claire 3. Hello There 4. Come On Come On 5.
