A rare stereo soundboard live performance of early Cheap Trick is now available! This recording was made on July 8, 1974 at the Stardust Club in Rockford, Illinois, their hometown. It is a precious recording from the time when vocalist Randy "XENO" Hogan was still in the band before Robin Zander joined. Rather than the pop and catchy sound that followed their official debut, they performed in a rough hard rock style, with few original songs. They also performed many covers, such as the Stones' "Stupid Girl," Motown's "Dancing in the Streets" and "Money," Led Zeppelin's "Rock and Roll," and Janis' "Move Over," making this a valuable excavated live recording that shows the band's roots!
