We have prepared a classic professional shot that represents 1977. There are two types of images included in this work. An approximately 40-minute multi-camera film that focuses on the famous program "DON KIRSHNER'S ROCK CONCERT" filmed on "November 10, 1977 in Los Angeles," coupled with "NIGHT GALLERY," which is also a representative video of early CHEAP TRICK. A collection of professional shots. Now, let's introduce each one individually. [First half: DON KIRSHNER'S ROCK CONCERT] First up is a multi-camera pro shot from when he appeared on "DKRC". This is a famous program that left valuable footage of various bands/artists in the 70's, and is one of the early CHEAP TRICK Tei versions. Since it is a classic, it has been upgraded many times over a long period of time, but this work uses the best master that can currently be desired. The most wonderful thing is the master freshness and vivid coloring. It's not like there are no dubbing marks, but it's so vivid that I think it's the 1st or 2nd generation. Robin Zander's all-white costume and Rick Nielsen's brightly colored primary colors are crisp and clear with no smudges or ghosts. The visual beauty is as if the broadcasting waves of the time were directly delivered, transcending time and space for more than 40 years. This was the 28th performance of "North America #2b", about a month and a half before the Long Beach performance. Let's organize this here.・Cheap Trick: Elo Kiddies (★) ・Pale Highway: Hello There (★) / Come On, Come On (★) / Southern Girls / Downed / Clock Strikes Ten ・Others: Goodnight Now *Note: Marked with “★” is a song that cannot be heard on the CD "LONG BEACH ARENA 1977". [Second half: NIGHT GALLERY] The second half includes another famous video, “NIGHT GALLERY”. Although the color is a little faded compared to the first half of "DKRC 1977", the noiseless visual beauty is still the best at the moment. Although this video is also a multi-camera professional shot, it is slightly different from the so-called live video. Although it uses live footage of a club performance, the audio is mime. The editing is elaborate, making full use of video processing that was cutting-edge in the 1970s, and there is no live feel to Rick, who is completely staring at the camera. However, the real thrill of seeing the five songs, which are half of the debut work, on video is wonderful, and it seems like a superb collection of clips.・Cheap Trick: : Elo Kiddies (★) / Oh, Candy (★) / Hot Love (★) / He's A Whore / The Ballad Of TV Violence (★) *Note: "★" mark indicates CD "LONG BEACH ARENA" 1977” is a song that cannot be heard. CHEAP TRICK has always been a genuine live band, but “1977” right after their debut was exceptional. The CD allows you to experience the fiery live performance at its best, and this work lets you peek into the scene that spreads out on the "other side."
