Charles Mingus Quartet Charles Mingus/Germany 09.21.1976 Broadcast Edition

This first-ever recording of the superb recording of the 1976 European tour's September 21st concert in Kamen, Germany, rebroadcast by German public radio in 2006, has been released. This live performance features the quartet, including Danny Richmond. The August performance in Helsinki, Finland, from this European tour has already been released, but the setlist is different, much to the delight of fans. The recording features three songs, approximately an hour long, and includes solid solo parts from each member, as well as a perfect tenor duel between Ricky Ford and Jack Wallace.
