Immediately after the 1982 Japan tour titled "Super Rock Session Vol. 1" which included a Budokan performance, "Carmine Appice & Friends" performed at the Savoy in New York on March 14th with super high sound quality. Recorded with stereo soundboard recording. Carmine Appice & Friends puts on a fun show with a variety of guest players, and every song is a pleasure to listen to! In the second half of the show, an announcement was made that they were reuniting for the first time in 10 years, and special guests Tim Bogart, Mark Stein, and Vinnie Martel would take the stage, and Vanilla Fudge's reunion live performance would be held. You can enjoy a very valuable take of the first album songs Take Me For A Little While, People Get Ready, and Keep Me Hanging On played by the original members for the first time in a while in the highest sound quality. The performance of the reorganized Vanilla Fudge, which explodes with the one and only Tim Bogart's bass line and Carmine's rhythm combination, is a great listen. At the end, Bo Diddley is played by everyone, and Rick Derringer, who played the main band guitar, Tom Peterson and the late Phil Lynott appear, vividly coloring the best night.
