The 2022 Japan tour saw a surprise collaboration with strings. The latest live albums, which will give you the ultimate experience of the symphonic show that has been highly praised everywhere, will be released simultaneously! This is the second of two simultaneous releases. It is a super-class audience recording of the "September 18, 2022: Club Citta Kawasaki" performance. This visit to Japan will only feature two performances at Club Citta. This work is a live album that vacuum-packs the entire story of the final day. In addition, these two works are sister works. It was recorded by Mr. "West Japan's Strongest Taper", who is familiar to us at our store. In other words, you can experience the entire two performances in Japan with the unity of the same venue, the same equipment, and the same recorder. The sound of this work is superb, as if it were a painting. As mentioned in the commentary on the sister work "KAWASAKI 2022 1ST NIGHT," Mr. "Strongest" is unique in progressive rock, along with HR/HM, and is naturally familiar with Club Citta Kawasaki, the mecca of progressive rock in Japan. Furthermore, CARAVAN conquered "KAWASAKI 2019" three years ago, and this is the second day of the same venue. They are in perfect condition with no factors that could go wrong. Naturally, the sound of this work is as expected... or even better. I wrote that the close contact of the sister work "KAWASAKI 2022 1ST NIGHT" was "just like the official one," but this work has transcended that even more! This is... how should I describe it... The guitar picking, the edge of the synth, the breathing of the vocals... all the edges are sharp, and even if you listen carefully with headphones, you can't feel the presence of the atmosphere. If "1ST NIGHT" is a feeling in front of your eyes, this work is immersive as if you are on stage with the members. Far from being zero distance, it's a sense of synchronization that makes the band rise up into your brain. The reason for this is probably... or rather, it's definitely the position. The sister work "1ST NIGHT" was around the 10th row, but this work is much closer to the 5th row. Of course, if you are too far forward, there is a risk that the sound will wrap around, but the 5th row is not that far, and the master "strongest" would never make such a basic mistake in the first place. The sound captured after carefully calculating the distance / direction from the PA is exactly "Isn't this a sound board?" If "1ST NIGHT" is an official class with a sense of sound pouring down, this work is a "table-direct sound board class" that stands out in the sense of synchronization that is one with the performance sound. Such a different dimension sound is drawn in a full show that is similar to "1ST NIGHT". Let's re-summarize it in the same format as the sister work. DISC 1: Regular set (Part 1) ・70s: Memory Lain, Hugh/Headloss/In the Land of Grey and Pink/Golf Girl/Winter Wine/Nightmare ・Recent songs: Ready or Not (★)/Better Days Are to Come/It's None of Your Business (★) DISC 2: Strings collaboration (Part 2) ・70s: For Richard/The Love in Your Eye/A Hunting We Shall Go DISC 3: Regular set (Part 3 + encore) ・70s: The Dog, the Dog, He's at It Again/Nine Feet Underground ・Recent songs: Smoking Gun (Right for Me)/Every Precious Little Thing (★)/I'm on My Way (*) *Note: The "★" mark is a song that cannot be heard on "KAWASAKI 2019" from three years ago, and the "*" mark is a song that cannot be heard on "KAWASAKI 2022 1ST NIGHT", which was released the day after the simultaneous release. ...And so it is. The difference from "1ST NIGHT" is the last encore. The previous day, we closed with the classic "If I Could Do It All Over Again, I'd Do It All Over You", but this work finishes with "I'm on My Way" from "PARADISE FILTER". More important than that is the performance itself. Mark Walker's beat is youthful, tight and aggressive, and Lee Pomeroy, who has been his partner since last year on bass, is a veteran virtuoso known for his work with ELO, YE feat. ARW, and Steve Hackett. His performance is perfect, and he is in his prime, and he pulls the show forward. On top of that are Jeffrey Richardson and Jan Schelhaas, who are the key members of the ensemble. They also give a wonderful performance as if they have rejuvenated. And above all, Pye Hastings. He said in advance that "this will be my last visit to Japan," and his deep guitar and singing voice seem to be filled with his feelings. The last time they came to Japan three years ago was a miracle after 14 years, but this time it was a wonderful stage that brought great excitement. This work is a three-disc set that allows you to fully experience the final performance with the incredible sound of "table-direct sound board class". This work itself is a masterpiece of Japan's long history, and if you combine it with the previous day's work "KAWASAKI 2022 1ST NIGHT", you can fully experience the entire visit to Japan. More specifically, if you combine it with "KAWASAKI 2019", you can complete 18 years of live in Japan with the same venue and recording artist collection. A superb three-sister work full of the fun that only a superb audience recording can make possible. A superb audience recording of the performance of "Club Citta Kawasaki on September 18, 2022". This is the latest work by the master "Western Japan's Strongest Taper", and the sound captured in the close seat of the 5th row is "like a table-direct SBD" class. It has an even more direct feel than the official work-level sister work "1ST NIGHT" from the previous day. You can experience the ultimate strings concert that has been acclaimed everywhere.
