Camel/UK 1976

This is a good audience recording of their performance at the Reading Festival on August 28th, which was held on the UK tour accompanying the release of "Moonmadness" in 1976, with the four original members and Mel Collins. First of all, this recording was made by a Japanese staff member of the record company at the time, who recorded it for recording purposes on-site, and then made into a CD directly from the original cassette. Moreover, the original master was re-digitized, recreating this precious live performance with a clarity that is hard to believe for an outdoor festival at the time. The set with Mel Collins was almost entirely made up of "The Snow Goose" and "Moonmadness", starting with "Aristillus", which was unique to that time, and then three "The Snow Goose" numbers in a row. Then, after three consecutive tracks from MOONMADNESS, "Song Within A Song," "Chord Change," and "Lunar Sea," they move on to "Preparation" and "Dunkirk" from THE SNOW GOOSE, making this a perfect set for fans of this period.
