This is a superb audience recording from the 2007 Bryan Ferry Dylanesque tour at the Royal Albert Hall on March 14th. This recording is a completely original recording of the concert that is not available anywhere else, and will be released tomorrow. The sound quality is characterized by the echo of the venue, which tends to be a little on the vocals, but each instrument is very clear and in a good position. This performance starts with the opening of the second solo, "The 'In' Crowd", followed by the dance number "Kiss And Tell" with an emphasis on rhythm, and finally "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues" from the new album "Dylanesque". The highlight of this song is Ferry's harmonica and guitar interplay. A characteristic of this tour is that the band is simple, but the two guitars, Chris Spedding and Oliver Thompson, alternate and create a complex sound. This tour is, of course, named after the album "Dylanesque," which is a cover of Dylan's songs, but for fans of the past, it is nice to hear rare songs from the fifth album, "The Bride Stripped Bare," such as "This Island Earth" and "When She Walks In The Room." In particular, "When She Walks In The Room" is a pleasant surprise, as it is a good song that has not received much attention from "The Bride Stripped Bare," which has generally been poorly rated, and can only be heard on this tour. In addition to the strings that are reminiscent of the album, the country-style steel guitar is truly wonderful and captivating to listen to. Since the Roxy Reunion Tour in 2000, Ferry has been performing a solid and diverse live sound with a band style that is almost the same pattern, but the listeners will never get bored because he has been making efforts to select songs and arrange them for each tour.
