Brian Ferry in 2002, who thought that the reunion of ROXY MUSIC would excite the whole world, sent out the masterpiece "FRANTIC" without any delay. The symbolic soundboard is now available as a best master supervised by a researcher. This work was recorded at the "Belfast performance on June 4, 2002". It is a stereo soundboard recording. Ferry, who reunited ROXY MUSIC in 2001, alternated between solo and ROXY MUSIC tours for a while after that. Especially during the "FRANTIC" era, some of the dates overlapped. In order to know the situation at that time (although it will be a bit long), let's first take a bird's-eye view of the activities at that time and check the position of this work. 2002 {FRANTIC released on April 15th} May 24th - July 31st: Europe #1 (20 shows) ★Here★ August 31st - October 26th: Europe #2 (37 shows) ←※LEICESTER 2002 November 9th - 26th: North America #1 (11 shows) November 30th + December 2nd: Japan (2 shows) ←※TOKYO 2002 2003 February 11-18: South America (6 performances) February 28-March 24: UK (16 performances) June 10-13: Northern Europe (3 performances) * July 13: Aveiro performance * July 25-August 2: North America #2 (6 performances) October 12-November 16: Europe #3 (4 performances) 2004 January 31-February 25: Oceania/Asia (14 performances) June 2-July 28: Middle East/Europe #4 (14 performances) *Note: "*" marks ROXY MUSIC, "・" marks solo performances. This is Brian Ferry from 2002 to 2004. We have also introduced masterpiece audience recordings such as "LEICESTER 2002" and "TOKYO 2002", but this Belfast performance is much earlier than those. This was the fifth concert of "Europe #1" at the beginning of the tour. A masterpiece sound board was left behind on this day and was also broadcast on the Swiss radio station "Radio DRS3 (now SRF3)". It has been loved as a standard in the "FRANTIC" era. This work is the highest peak of such a standard sound board. It is a famous product that was made into a CD directly from the best master, which Ferry's sound source researcher gave a stamp of approval saying "This is it!" The sound is a real sound board with outstanding rawness. It is not the type that was polished by mixing work afterwards like the official work, but the unprocessed feeling of recording out as if it was a live broadcast. However, even if the mix is rough, the master freshness is tremendous, it is noiseless and there is no deterioration such as tape twisting, and the sense of stability is outstanding. If you express these individuality in one word, it feels like "the best excavation official class". The stage depicted by such a real sound board is completely different from "LEICESTER 2002" and "TOKYO 2002" that we are familiar with. It's about 58 minutes long, based on the broadcast time slot, but in that limited time there's a ton of repertoire that you can't hear in the two above. Let's organize the selection here. Roxy Music (7 songs) Before the restart: Out Of The Blue / Both Ends Burning (★) / Love Is The Drug / Virginia Plain (★) After the restart: Oh Yeah (★) / Dance Away (★) / Jealous Guy (★) Solo (7 songs) Frantic: It's All Over Now, Baby Blue / A Fool For Love / Don't Think Twice It's Alright Others: Sign of the Times (★) / Can't Let Go (★) / A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall (★) / Let's Stick Together *Note: The "★" mark indicates songs that you couldn't hear in "LEICESTER 2002" or "TOKYO 2002". ... and so on. The new songs from "FRANTIC" are the same, but most of the other songs are replaced. Perhaps to carry on the enthusiasm of the reunion the previous year, there are plenty of ROXY MUSIC numbers. Among them, "Sign of the Times", which was also performed in Japan, is also featured early on. Of course, it is a song included in "THE BRIDE STRIPPED BARE", but the "FRANTIC Tour" was the first time it was performed live. This work is the early days of the tour, the fifth performance, and you can experience the fresh version that has only been played a few times on the sound board. This is a sound board album that allows you to enjoy plenty of ROXY MUSIC songs and 70's masterpieces that you couldn't hear even at the Japanese performance, while keeping the potential of "FRANTIC". This is a piece that will pour into your brain the live performances from the early days of the tour, which are very different from the main tour. Stereo sound board recording of "Belfast performance on June 4, 2002". Although it is a standard FM sound board, it is the highest peak that was directly made into CD from the best master that Ferry's sound source researcher stamps his stamp of approval as "This is it!". The unprocessed feel of the recording is as vivid as a live broadcast, while the master freshness is tremendous, with no noise and no deterioration such as tape twisting. With the finest excavation official class sound, you can enjoy the fifth tour, which is completely different from the Japanese performance.
