In 1999, Brian Ferry toured with a large band of more than 10 people, carrying the standard cover album "AS TIME GOES BY". This is a stereo soundboard recording. We have been dealing with Ferry's career all the time, but this is the first time we have introduced the "AS TIME GOES BY Tour". First of all, let's take a look at the overview of his activities at that time and check the position of this work. 1999, July 2: Meltdown Festival appearance ("AS TIME GOES BY" released on October 14) ・November 2-21: North America (13 performances) ←★Here★ ・December 6-31: UK #1 (12 performances) 2000, February 4-March 9: Europe #1 (24 performances) ・April 10-30: UK #2 / South Africa (8 performances) ・June 2-July 29: Europe #2 (13 performances) ・August 18: York performance ・September 27 + 29: Russia (2 performances) This is Brian Ferry in 1999/2000. This work, which conveys such a show, is a superb sound board that is so beautiful that it makes you sigh. Our shop delivers various masterpieces under the supervision of overseas ferry researchers, and this is the latest edition. Soundboard albums such as ROXY MUSIC's masterpiece "GLASGOW 2001 FM BROADCAST" and solo "BELFAST 2002 SOUNDBOARD" will also appear, but they are also the same researcher's collection. With these three works, you can enjoy the 1999-2002 ferry on the apex soundboard. Among them, this work stands out in particular for its beauty. The taste of the zero-distance & close-fitting soundboard is of course completely official, but that's not all. No matter how many musical tones overlap, the sense of separation that never mixes is wonderful, and the glossy tone that makes you feel the sound of the instrument itself is also exquisite. In particular, the "AS TIME GOES BY Tour" is a large group that includes pianists, harpists, violinists, and brass players, so the prominence of each sound is particularly important, and the tone that depicts the grace of standard numbers requires delicacy. This work embodies that need beautifully. It is a more elegant and natural sound board than any other official work. The sound board of such dignity depicts a stage full of precious songs that are only possible with the "AS TIME GOES BY Tour". Let's organize the set while paying attention to the repertoire that is only played on this tour. As Time Goes By (6 songs)・The Way You Look Tonight/Love Me or Leave Me (★)/You Do Something to Me (★)/Falling In Love Again/Just One of Those Things (★)/As Time Goes By (★)Other (8 songs)・Solo: Smoke Gets In Your Eyes/Carrickfergus/I Can't Get Started (★)/The Only Face/Let's Stick Together・Roxy Music: Sunset (★)/Jealous Guy/Do The Strand *Note: The "★" mark indicates a song exclusive to this tour. ...And so on. A total of 14 songs were performed within the approximately 50-minute broadcast time slot, and six of them were "As Time Goes By" numbers. Although the famous Frank Sinatra song "I Can't Get Started" was not included, it was a song recorded during the "As Time Goes By" sessions. More specifically, ROXY MUSIC's "Sunset" has never been performed at the original venue, and only on the "AS TIME GOES BY Tour" solo. This is a live album with a rich special feeling, with half of the songs limited to a limited edition. Just before the reunion of ROXY MUSIC, which excited the world, Brian Ferry held the "AS TIME GOES BY Tour", which was different from any other tour.
