Bill Bruford's leader band BRUFORD was formed after working with KING CRIMSON and U.K. A symbolic video that also includes Alan Holdsworth has been decided to be released. This work was filmed at the Oxford Polytechnic University on March 7, 1979. This is a multi-camera professional shot taken when he appeared on the famous BBC program "ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE". As the name suggests, this program broadcasts concerts held at university gymnasiums, etc., and its appeal is the best professional shots of surprisingly rare small venues. Although it was broadcast for a short period of time from 1978 to 1981, it is famous for producing many masterpieces that will remain in rock history, such as AC/DC, CHEAP TRICK, Rory Gallagher, Tom Petty, U2, GILLAN, etc. . BRUFORD was one of them, and was later officially discovered and released on CD/DVD. This work is a copy of such official product. . . Well, of course not. As many of you may have already guessed, this is the Japan Broadcasting version that was featured on a certain satellite broadcasting station's famous program "ROCK MASTERS" in 2007. Its quality is truly impregnable. At our store, we archive music programs with the best masters by domestic core recorders, but this work was broadcast in 2007, so it was already in the era after the official DVD version. The original master of the broadcasting station is digitally broadcast and recorded with zero deterioration, and transferred to DVD without leaking the visual beauty. And on top of that, the program's unique production is also solid. There are Japanese subtitles, but in addition, special corners are set up at key points in the program, featuring a famous metal critic (sometimes referred to as the ``Japanese metal god'', but apparently he is a progressive rock fan). You can also see an explanation by a person who is said to like it. As expected, BRUFORD is a maniac, and there is no surprising new information, and the content is a simple tracing of Bill's career, but it is still easy to get into the live with one cushion. In addition to such unique colors, the main part of the live performance is most delicious. What a memorable premiere, depicted in completely official quality. This is a good opportunity to take a look back at their activities. 1978《January ``FEELS GOOD TO ME'' released《《March ``U.K. OF A KIND” completed》・March 7: Oxford performance ←★This work★・May 6: Uxbridge performance・May 27: Liege performance《“ONE OF A KIND” released in June》・July 11th - August 26th: North America (42 performances) ← *"THE BRUFORD TAPES" 1980 ["GRADUALLY GOING TORNADO" released in February] April 30th + May 17th: UK (2 performances) June 6th - August 8th: North America (22 performances) This is the progress from 1978 to 1980. In 1978, they released ``FEELS GOOD TO ME'' at the beginning of the year, but after that they continued to work in the UK. It was not until 1979 that Bruford and Holdsworth, who left U.K., appeared on stage as BRUFORD, and this work was their first performance. Although ``ONE OF A KIND'' was not released at that time, it was completed, and the four people who created ``FEELS GOOD TO ME'' and ``ONE OF A KIND'' are all together in this work. The set is also a concentrated reduction of two works, and Annette Peacock also appears in two songs. Let's organize the contents as well. BRUFORD (1979)・FEELS GOOD TO ME: Sample and Hold/Beelzebub/Back To The Beginning (★)/Adios a la pasada (Goodbye to the Past) (★)・ONE OF A KIND: The Sahara Of Snow Part 1 & 2/Forever Until Sunday/Five G *Note: “★” indicates vocals by Annette Peacock. ...and it looks like this. After the full video of "ROCK GOES TO COLLEGE", this program also broadcasts a professional shot of EARTHWORKS performed in New York in May 2001, as it is about Bill's current situation (at the time of broadcast). This work is also recorded entirely according to the program. BRUFORD was started by Bill Bruford and Allan Holdsworth at the same time as U.K. This is a historical masterpiece where you can witness the precious stage where two heroes line up with multi-camera professional shots.
