At the end of 2015, in conjunction with the release of the deluxe album ``The River Box'' to commemorate the album's 35th anniversary, ``The River Tour 2016'' will kick off on January 16th in Pittsburgh. A complete recording of the memorable first day performance, which lasted for a total of 3 hours, was recorded from Digital Audience Master. First of all, the much-talked-about re-enactment of all the songs of "The River" will be performed in all 20 songs from the album, and after that it will be a daily set list, which is something to keep an eye on in the future. Furthermore, on this day, as a tribute to David Bowie, who passed away on January 10th, there was a surprise encore performance of "Rebel Rebel" by the band. Boss's speech was so moving that Bowie picked up and recorded two songs from the album, including "Glowin' Up." In addition, as a bonus, three songs from the familiar US:TV "Saturday Night Live" that appeared on December 19, 2015, including a duet with Paul McCartney, are additionally included on the soundboard sound source. This is the first time in 13 years that the Boss E Street Band appeared as a guest on the show, and they performed at the end of the show. It was a surprise that suddenly appeared and became a joint. The tour is scheduled for 24 performances in 22 cities in North America and Canada, including performances at New York Madison Square Garden and LA Sports Arena, over a three-month period ending in March of the same year.
