The Widener University show on February 6, 1975 is famous as a video that captured the E Street Band's stage performance when Sukhi Lahav was a member. This video was taken by one fan who brought along a portable black and white video camera and recorder that had just been released at the time. Of course, not all performances are recorded, but Incident On 57th Street, in which Lahav plays the violin, is clearly captured. However, since this video first appeared in the 1980s, the tape in the beginning of the stage has deteriorated, and flickers can be seen here and there, which is the same as ever. JEMS obtained the master video tape of this standard video last year and has made it into DVD again. Even though the original is a deteriorated black and white video image, the recording from the master has a sharp image quality as expected. Especially if you were able to watch this video in the video era, you will be amazed at the image quality this time around. Moreover, this video is valuable not only because it shows the performance scene of Born To Run, which had not yet been released at this point, but also because it shows the performance scene of the early version of Thunder Road and Wings For Wheels. is. It's a shame that the middle part of the show was completely cut off, but I was impressed by the fact that during the encore, when the venue was excited, the photographer rushed forward all at once, and the angle of Sandy was literally overlapping. I can't. I think this shoot was possible because it was just before Springsteen's breakthrough. And as a bonus, a newly discovered performance at Widener University the next day is included. It is unfortunate that this sound source is also an audience recording that only includes the final stage of the show, but since it is the first appearance, there is no doubt that this is a part that fans cannot miss. The sound quality is also quite easy to listen to, and the recording supplements the content of the video, such as hearing For You, which was not recorded in the previous day's video, and both of these things together make it a high-grade item that can be enjoyed very much.
