The latest premiere live duet featuring the famous tenor singer "Ian Bostridge", which started in Europe in late February, has already appeared. The two met in 2015 after seeing each other perform in Germany and hit it off. From Bach to jazz, their shared passion is said to expand the sensibilities of music and stimulate creativity. A new song written by Mehldau with Bostridge's beautiful tenor in mind, ``The Philly of Desire,'' is played in the first half of the live performance. From the second half of the live performance, he perfectly completed the masterpiece "Poet's Love" (Dichterliebe) by Robert Schumann, a rare composer representing German Romanticism. On overseas sites, the live show was praised as an extraordinary original duet performed by a jazz man as a homage to 19th century German music. The last two songs are standard masterpieces and the live performance concludes. Live at the Philharmonie de Paris, Paris, France 02/25/2019 Brad Mehldau (p) Ian Bostridge (tenor)
