Following on from 1988, BON JOVI returned to Japan in 1990 to once again countdown to New Year's Eve. The best video has been decided to be released. This work was filmed at the "December 31, 1990: Tokyo Dome" performance. This is a multi-camera pro shot of the countdown event “THE BIG JOINT TOUR”. This year's visit to Japan has the title "NTT Super Communication Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Telephone" attached to the crown, and in addition to the New Year's Eve live performance, they will also be on a solo tour. We have previously introduced the masterpiece audience video "OSAKA 1991 2ND NIGHT", so let's take a look back at the overall picture here. 1990, December 31st: Tokyo Dome ←★Here★ 1991, January 3rd: Yokohama Arena, January 5th: Nagoya Rainbow Hall, January 8th: Osaka Castle Hall, January 9th: Osaka Castle Hall ←※OSAKA 1991 2ND NIGHT A total of 5 performances. Two years ago, “HEAT BEAT LIVE '89 IN BIG EGG” was held for two consecutive days during the year-end and New Year holidays, “12/31 & 1/1,” but this time, it was held only once at Tokyo Dome on New Year’s Eve. This dome performance will be held in festival format with THE QUIREBOYS, SKID ROW, and CINDERELLA. This work is a DVD version of a one-hour program featuring such events. The visual beauty, which uses masters that are considered to be the highest, has an analog feel, so in a modern sense, it is difficult to say "completely official grade!", but according to the standards of the time, it is the type that can be said with full force. First half of the program: A selection of featured songs by the participating bands (4 songs) The program content is roughly divided into the first and second halves. The first half section is called "List of Performing Bands" and broadcasts one song for each band as an introduction. At the beginning, the main act was BON JOVI. Of course, at the scene, the flow was "3 songs → New Year countdown → 14 songs", but here the opening scene where the American national anthem slides into "Tokyo Road" is featured. After that, the band will perform one song at a time from the opening, starting with THE QUIREBOYS' "7 O'Clock" → SKID ROW's "Youth Gone Wild" → CINDERELLA's "Shelter Me". SKID ROW and CINDERELLA have been called "BON JOVI's younger brothers" since then, and THE QUIREBOYS, which was mixed in with them, also fit perfectly. Spike's hoarse, husky voice stands out from Tom Kiefer's, giving the impression of a showdown between the then-new British and American blues rock genre. The second half of the program: The second half of the program, which included a hit parade (5 songs) of the big bird BON JOVI, ``New Year's Eve Countdown,'' was filled with a live performance of the big bird BON JOVI. Although there are only 5 songs, the concentration of the killer major songs is intense. In “Born To Be My Baby”, John also jumps into the audience, and the heyday performance runs through. Led by BON JOVI, who were enjoying spring in our world with the astronomical hits of "SLIPPERY WHEN WET" and "NEW JERSEY," there was the ambitious young SKID ROW, and CINDERELLA & THE QUIREBOYS, who were trying to break new ground in blues rock. This is a superb professional shot that allows you to enjoy a major event that symbolizes the era when rock was at its most dazzling. Although it is only a little less than an hour long, it is a piece that takes you back to that era that will probably never be seen again.
