The "THESE DAYS" era opened a new door on the back of the record-breaking hit of "CROSS ROAD". The multi-camera pro shots are to be released. This work includes the "Ecuador performance on October 31, 1995". The "TESE DAYS TOUR 1995-1996" saw two performances in Japan, and the official video "LIVE FROM LONDON" was also produced. First of all, let's check the position of the show from the situation at that time. [1995] ・April 26th-May 19th: Asia (11 performances) ・May 23rd-July 8th: Europe #1 (29 performances) ←※Official 《June 27th "THESE DAYS" released》 ・July 21st-October 7th: North America (44 performances) ・October 22nd-November 4th: Latin America (8 performances) ←★Here★ ・November 8th-18th: Oceania (7 performances) ・November 28th-December 3rd: South Africa (3 performances) [1996] ・May 14th-20th: Japan #2 (5 performances) ・June 1st-July 19th: Europe #2 (26 performances) This is the whole picture of the world tour. The Japanese performances were in May 1995 and May 1996, but the Ecuador performance of this work is right in between. It was the sixth concert in "Latin America". This show was also broadcasted as a pro shot by the local TV station "TELEAMAZONAS". It was a standard video known since then. This work is not a copy of such an already released work, but an upgraded version that has recently appeared. It is the 1st Gene Master recorded on S-VHS. The upgrade is truly amazing. Although it is a South American broadcast in the 1990s, unlike what you would imagine with so-called "South American quality", the freshness of the master is wonderful. Of course, it cannot be said to be "official class" in the modern digital sense, but the vivid image quality and coloring with almost no dubbing marks easily jumps over the time of 23 years, and is beautiful as if it were receiving the radio waves directly at that time. It is a visual beauty of a different dimension from the conventional already released. Although the quality is not South American, the broadcast content is really South American. First of all, the bold camera work is amazing. It is clearly different from the sophisticated cut division of Europe and the United States, and the members' close-ups are connected endlessly. The Estadio Olimpico Atahualpa, where the event took place, is a stadium that can accommodate about 40,000 people, but the sense of scale is skipped and the footage allows you to get up close and personal with the members. Moreover, the close-ups are strangely diagonal and the cuts change roughly, making it really wild. The footage is mainly about the members, like a clip, but in fact, clips also appear. Many hit songs are played, but for songs such as "Livin' On A Prayer", "You Give Love A Bad Name", "Blaze Of Glory" and "Bad Medicine", image footage such as PVs are mercilessly overlaid (the performance is as it is live). It's a waste to have such a professional shot live, but the screen where John in his 20s and 30s crosses is also interesting. The scent from there is South America in the 1990s. It's not modern South America that has caught up with Europe and the United States, but the innocent enthusiasm of the 1990s, when they were intoxicated with rock and were making a fuss with momentum, overflows from the screen. The quality of the footage is such that it seems like they are enjoying their worldwide popularity with their whole body. The set is a great representative song + new song. As mentioned above, this tour is also included in the official video "LIVE FROM LONDON", but there are plenty of songs that can't be seen there either. To list them briefly, there are five songs, which account for 1/3 of the total, including "Someday I'll Be Saturday Night", "Something For The Pain", "Damned", "Born To Be My Baby", and "Runaway". "Something For The Pain" is also valuable, but "Damned" is even more so. The arrangement in which John sings PATTI SMITH GROUP's "Because The Night" a cappella as an intro is very cool. It's a scene that seems to be from the "THESE DAYS" era, where it's catchy but has a deep, soaking flavor. BON JOVI has climbed to new horizons with "CROSS ROAD". This is a professional shot where their passionate performance and innocent South American broadcasting met. It can be enjoyed as a live video full of great songs, or as a video that complements "LIVE FROM LONDON" from the other side of the world, but more than that, it is a masterpiece video with an interesting 90's scent.
