This is a recording of the Milwaukee performance on October 16th from the fall 1981 tour, which was the last tour of Dylan's gospel period. This was the first day of the last gospel tour, and the performance was recorded with an audience recording of very good sound quality. Unfortunately, there seems to have been a mistake during recording, for example, the unstable state as if the tape recorder had stopped on "Just Like A Woman" was a flaw. However, the sound quality itself is not to be missed because it records the final form of the gospel tour with a stunning clarity and a surprisingly on sound image. After all, this tour was the first in the history of Dylan's band to have a twin drum (one of the drummers was Jim Keltner), and it was a tour that gave us a wilder and more intense rock than ever before. This is evident from the opening song "Gotta Serve Somebody," which has evolved into a hard atmosphere that makes you think it's a different song from the same song in 1979 and 1980. Another interesting change is that the members of the chorus not only sing gospel songs as before, but also sing the theme song of the movie "THE ROSE", which is a completely different selection of songs from before. By this time, Dylan's gospel tour had evolved to the point where he could go around large venues, which may have been reflected in the familiar and wide selection of songs. The fact that such a sound source from the 1981 tour will be a gift may be a preview of the future release of our Dylan titles. Please look forward to future releases. And this is a valuable sound source title that recorded the first day of the last gospel tour with a wild live sound accompanied by a band with a twin drum introduction that is completely different from 1979 and 1980!
