The 2016 Japan Tour's eighth day in Tokyo, April 23rd at Tokyo Dome City Hall, and the final day in Tokyo, April 26th at Orchard Hall, have both been released on Blu-ray from high-quality audience footage captured on HD cameras. Taking advantage of the large capacity of Blu-ray, the entire performance was recorded in the same quality as the HD camera's original material. The Tokyo Dome City Hall performance was shot with a single camera, but with excellent camerawork and stable shots throughout. This is a valuable video of one of the few performances in Japan. The Orchard Hall performance on the 26th was recorded with a two-camera mix of stable footage from the front of the second floor seats and a super close-up shot from the front of the first floor seats, and was also edited, making it undoubtedly the best quality video of this Japan tour. Moreover, the audio part is a full matrix of 2CDs released by a highly acclaimed label for Japan tour recordings, and the sound recorded with the highest quality high-end equipment from the premium seats with the best sound quality matches perfectly with the amazing video. And although the set list remained the same this time, the one-month Japan tour, held as a theater tour, was a chance to witness the true essence of Dylan, who is both an exceptional poet and a singer, and is a permanent memorial item to commemorate his Nobel Prize in Literature.
