Bob Dylan's 1989 summer American tour, in which Mike Millard's shocking excavation master "GREEK THEATER 1989 2ND NIGHT: MIKE MILLARD MASTER" will be released, began in July, and the final day of that tour was this time. Since it is LA Greek Theater, we have prepared the sound source from July, which was the first half of the tour. In the first place, this tour was held with a packed schedule, partly because Dylan was still in his 50s. There were even performances on four consecutive nights, such as at the end of July. Therefore, in order to preserve the pace, there were many days in July when the performance time could fit only one CD. Holmdel, which was chosen as a gift this time on the 21st, was such a day. The original audience recording has a good sense of distance and clarity, and is of a quality that even non-maniacs can listen to. The show opened with "Trouble," which was one of the symbolic repertoires of the summer of 1989, and even though the show was short, the unusual song selection typical of this tour was still there. Van Morrison's ``One Irish Rover'', which was also performed at the Greek Theater, is still cute, and above all, the cover song ``When Did You Leave Heaven?'', which was included in the album ``DOWN IN THE GROOVE''. It is said to be one of the few days when Dylan performed a simple sung version of the song. While the album had an incongruous synth sound from the intro, this simple, acoustic performance, which can be said to be Dylan's best, has a much more moving finish. It's a rare cover song, having been performed live about 10 times between this year and 1991, and Dylan performed it only twice. As you can see from this, the big appeal is that it is not just a day with a short performance time in the first half of the tour, but also that the rare performances typical of Dylan in 1989 are firmly included on this day. And not only this rare performance, but also the fact that Dylan is in high spirits throughout the live performance is worth listening to. He was on a roll right from the start of the show, but reached the next level with "It's Alright, Ma." She overwhelmed the audience with her powerful and passionate singing, and perhaps it was this confidence that led her to sing and sing ``When Did You~'' in a rare way. After that, the engine continued to fly at full throttle. By daring to set the performance time short, it can be said that it was a condensed day that seemed to prove that Dylan was able to sing effortlessly even on a hard tour schedule. Combined with August's masterpiece "HOT AUGUST NIGHT 1989" and this time's "GREEK THEATER 1989 2ND NIGHT", it is a valuable piece that allows you to see how the summer tour of 1989 evolved. It is also a useful material. Garden State Arts Center, Holmdel, New Jersey, USA 21st July 1989 TRULY AMAZING/PERFECT SOUND(79:50) 1. Trouble 2. One Irish Rover (Van Morrison) 3.
