Energetic...just energetic. That was the biggest surprise when I saw the audience shot footage of Dylan's stage 15 years ago. Dylan showed an increasingly energetic staging at Fuji Rock, but at the Brixton Academy stage in 2003, I was overwhelmed by the energetic staging. Dylan's tension was very high during the European tour in the fall of 2003, and the strength that was clearly felt just by listening to the sound source that was on the market at the time became a hot topic among enthusiasts at the time. The valuable footage that conveyed that from a visual perspective is the Brixton Academy. This audience shot footage was popular as a standard for the fall 2003 tour at the time, including the cut division of the two-angle synthesis that began to spread around this time, and items were actually released. However, the version released this time was restored by a fan circle called "DVDylan", which precisely synchronized the better audience recording and even edited some of the angles. That said, even though the original was shot from two angles, both of which had close-ups, the limit of audience shot footage from this era was that it was basically a monotonous video that captured Dylan endlessly. Still, there are plenty of highlights. First of all, it includes the incredibly rare repertoire "Yea! Heavy And A Bottle Of Bread" from "The Basement Tapes." This was a big topic at the time. In addition, they also play famous songs such as "Jokerman," "A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall," and the final "Like A Rolling Stone," which were not heard at Fuji Rock. However, the best part is Dylan's appearance, who is too excited (lol) throughout the entire film. At the time, I was distracted by the strangeness of Dylan having completely left the guitar and become a keyboardist, but when I look at it again, the stage performance of the 62-year-old at the time, who was energetic and excited while playing the keyboard, is too interesting. In particular, in "Honest With Me," you must see the moment when George Lisely, the drummer, tries to hold back his laughter as Dylan finally leaves the piano to signal for a break, and he is also in top form in the similarly up-tempo "Summer Days." Another highlight is the unique playing of Freddie Coella, who was the second guitarist at the time. He joined the band from the spring tour, replacing Billy Barnett, who joined the band at the beginning of 2003, who left the band after just one tour. At first, he played like a safe, skilled guitarist, but from this fall tour, as if he was encouraged by Dylan, he played a series of unique phrases that were rugged and even strange. His presence was also a hot topic at the time, and as you can see from his playing and appearance in "Cat's In The Well," he had a very tremendous presence. Perhaps this backfired, as he was a short-lived and legendary guitarist who left the band after just one tour the following year. This video is packed with the charm of a legendary stage in every sense of the word. Live at Brixton Academy, London, UK 25th November 2003 AMAZING SHOT!!! Disc 1(56:31) 1. Opening 2. Intro. 3.
