Bob Dylan's masterpiece "THE FREEWHEELIN' BOB DYLAN" created during the folk era is an album that is famous among enthusiasts for the content changes that occurred at the time of release. It was originally scheduled to be released in April 1963, but additional recordings were made in a hurry and the content was replaced at the last minute, and it was released at the end of May. That is the “FREEWHEELIN’” that we have been familiar with for many years. However, since the album had already been completed, a white label promotional edition was pressed in April for the purpose of sending it to radio stations. As a result, the contents of the album were replaced before it went on the market, but in this way the original "FREEWHEELIN'" album was also left behind for posterity. Of course, it was distributed before it was released to the general public, and it was recalled due to changes in the content, so this promo version has now become a legendary version for fans as a mega-rare item. All the songs that were included in the version before the songs were replaced have been included in LP items as copies from the promo version, but until now there have been no items that have included the entire promo version. . However, in recent years, a version in which a maniac carefully recorded the monaural press of the mega rare promo version has been circulating among fans. This time, we have introduced an innovative item that can be recorded on a CD and reproduce the phantom promo board! When you are listening to “Blowin’ In The Wind” being played with a raw monaural sound, the next thing that starts is the familiar “Girl From The North Country”. On the contrary, it doesn't even appear until that "Masters Of War". I can't help but be surprised that a song played by a band with a jazzy atmosphere called "Rocks And Gravel" appears instead. Is this “FREEWHEELIN’”? Furthermore, “Let Me Die In My Footsteps” flows instead of “Masters Of ~”. This song is included in "BOOTLEG SERIES VOL.1-3", but while it was shortened there, it is included in the complete version here. Following the familiar “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” on the B-side, it is not “Bob Dylan’s Dream” but “Rambling, Gambling Willie”. This was the album as originally planned. The famous unreleased song "Talking John Birch Paranoid Blues" is also included on the B-side. A live version of this song at Carnegie Hall was recorded in "BOOTLEG SERIES VOL.1-3", but here it is a valuable studio version that was originally scheduled to be included in this album. Listening to it all through like this gives a completely different impression of the album. The fact that we were able to record the highest sound quality from such a mega-rare mono/promo board is sure to attract attention from enthusiasts around the world. Furthermore, as a bonus, a rare take is included from the session sound source of "FREEWHEELIN'", which surprised fans all over the world when it appeared as a limited edition in 2012. Of course, it is a fulfilling content that also covers different takes of “Blowin’ In The Wind”. Not only the phantom promo version, but also the rare outtakes that everyone wanted to hear. The ultimate release that brings everything together with the best monaural sound will be realized!
