Here is the first installment of the Collector's Series, which includes the first leg of the long-term "Gospel Tour" that started in the fall of 1979, 14 consecutive performances in San Francisco, all recorded from master quality audience tapes. First of all, from the gig at the Fox Warfield Theater in San Francisco, where a total of 14 performances were held from November 1st to 16th of the same year, this VOL.1 includes the 4th day from the 1st to the 4th day of the first day. A compilation of the 4 performances up until now. Also worth noting is that, in stark contrast to last year's legendary Japan performance, they did not perform any of their past representative songs, only songs from the then-released ``Slow Train Coming'' and their next album ``Saved.'' It is also known that the setlist was controversial at the time. In addition, the works on ``Saved'' are played with a true Duran-style gospel touch, and each of them is an amazing arrangement that makes it difficult to recognize the original song. Of course, the set changes depending on the day, and there are differences in sound quality depending on some performances, but since it was the most controversial period in the long career, all fans should check out the first collector's edition.
