Our store will be releasing the sound source of Bob Dylan's 1984 European tour for the first time. Speaking of this tour, there is an official version called "REAL LIVE," but perhaps because of the lackluster performances heard there, this tour has an image of being "tasty" or "lackluster." I have become stronger. Indeed, it can be said that all the performances heard on that album were the result of exposing the bad parts of the band at the time of this tour, which was ``playing safely''. While it was a very attractive tour with Mick Taylor joining Dylan's band as a guitarist, the rhythm section of Colin Allen and Greg Sutton, chosen from Taylor's connections, was too flat, and that is why this tour I can't deny the feeling that the flavor has become stronger. While such a band was finally playing a performance that fit into the final stage of the tour, it can be said that “REAL LIVE” was where Dylan’s struggle stood out. At the end of the tour, which was the main focus of that album, luxurious guests such as Clapton and Bono joined Dylan's stage, and audience recordings were only released at the end of the tour. However, if you listen to the Brussels performance on June 7th, which will be released this time, you will be reminded that the first half of the tour was suddenly a hotter performance. The band at this time is full of energy and is trying to “hardly” serve as Dylan’s backing, which is completely different from the boring “REAL LIVE” performance. Dylan started a tour in 1984 with such a band, but at first he was trying to see how far this band could follow him. Isn't this day's "All Along The Watchtower" a good mix of his intentions and the band's hard work? Dylan here is pulling the band with a harmonica before the performance begins, and Taylor will listen to a wonderful lead guitar in the performance that started from there. On the contrary, when the performance approaches the second half, there is no doubt that you will be speechless at the upper development that unfolds until the battle between his lead and Dylan's harmonica. I think such an intense performance should have been recorded on “REAL LIVE”. “All Along ~” on this day was so wonderful that I assert that it captured the best moment of the play that Taylor showed on this tour. As you can see from his performance, Dylan was in top form that day, and after Sutton sang a soul cover of ``I've Got to Use My Imagination'' for Dylan to take a break, Dylan was in the solo singing corner. The full performance is amazing! Returning from the gospel route of the early 80's, the album "INFIDELS" was a success, and the fact that the tour was held in support of it was also a big factor. However, as if being drawn in by Dylan's booming performance, Taylor is also playing everywhere. For example, "Ballad Of A Thin Man" starts with the riff he plays, and Ian McLagan's organ supports the song, which is unique to this tour. The arrangement of “Of Sand” is also tasteful. Not only that, but as a result of adopting the sound source with the best sound quality from the multiple audience recordings of that day, the power and vivid tone of Taylor's guitar were realistically captured by the on-sound image, which is exactly what it is. I think it's appropriate to call it real live. Taylor and McLagan's performance of "Like A Rolling Stone" was something that was possible because of this tour, and what's more, Dylan's enthusiastic singing and their supporting performances were impressive before the encore. The ending is coming. For the encore, Carlos Santana, who was the opening act on this tour, joins in with "Tombstone Blues", but it is an overwhelming rock that can't even come close to the take of "REAL LIVE", which was the take in which he participated. There is no doubt that it will be done! This was the original charm of the 1984 tour, and the incandescent performance that makes you want to declare it was recorded with a sound source that captures the powerful sound pressure. This audience recording is missing only the ending of "I And I" and Dylan's MC introducing Greg Sutton, so we replaced that part with a different sound source, but it fit seamlessly and can be listened to smoothly. Now you can And the bonus includes two rare songs played at the Cologne performance. This is not only the first CD sound source but also an audience recording with great sound quality. The shocking live sound source from Brussels will be released, but the best part is that it will be performed on stage with Taylor's participation, and it will be live in this land, so the title will be "BRUSSELS AFFAIR"!
