Four years after their shocking debut, BLUE MURDER broke their silence and returned to Japan in 1993. The original master that revives the scene is a new excavation. This work is inspired by the “December 7, 1993: Nagoya Civic Hall” performance. This is the first appearance audience recording. Speaking of Japan performances during the “NOTHING BUT TROUBLE” era, not only is the official live album “SCREAMING BLUE MURDER”, but “NOTHING BUT TROUBLE IN TOKYO” is also a standard. In order to sort out those relationships, let's first look back at the schedule at that time.・December 3rd: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall ・December 4th “NOTHING BUT TROUBLE IN TOKYO” ・December 5th: Osaka Festival Hall ・December 7th: Nagoya Civic Hall ←★This work★・December 8th: Tokyo Welfare Pension Hall, December 9th: Club Citta Kawasaki, December 11th: Club Citta Kawasaki, December 12th: Shibuya Public Hall.A total of 8 performances. It was also a time when HR/HM was rapidly declining worldwide, but its popularity in Japan remained steady. Rather, his visit to Japan solidified his confidence in Sykes, who had inherited the tradition of honest British HR despite such a social situation. Six of these performances are concentrated in the Kanto area, and the official version ``SCREAMING BLUE MURDER'' is a live album compiled from the Tokyo performance (although the exact date and time are unknown). The Nagoya performance of this work is a valuable local performance, and it does not overlap with the official version at all. This work reveals a show that could not be heard before, but its quality is also excellent. It is digitized directly from the original DAT master, but the core is strong and the sound is neat. There are some scenes where the vocals are so powerful that they momentarily over peak, but those are very few. The vibrato of the guitar's large swings is delicate, the harmonics are sharply drawn, and each drum beat is so vivid and three-dimensional that you can almost imagine the structure of the kit. And the base. Bass tends to be a weak point in audience recording, especially fretless bass, which tends to have a loose outline. However, in this work, such basses are captured smoothly and precisely, and you can fully enjoy the virtuosity of Marco Mendoza, who has become a hot topic as a ``new bass hero!''. What was even more surprising was the enthusiasm of the audience. The loud cheers are clearly absorbed, but it is far away and the scale is large. Strangely, there is no close voice, and it spreads out as gently as fine autumn rain, and as glossy as velvet. If it weren't for the overpeak of the vocals mentioned earlier, it would have been made into a permanent press, but it's a shame that it's ``just a little bit more and it's transcendent''! It's the sound. What is drawn with such a neat sound is a full show unique to BLUE MURDER, which is deeper than WHITESNAKE and more severe than SYKES. There is a lot of repertoire that cannot be heard on the official edition "SCREAMING BLUE MURDER", which was edited to fit on one CD, so let's organize it while comparing. BLUE MURDER (11 songs) ・Blue Murder: Riot/Billy/Jelly Roll/Blue Murder(★) ・Nothing But Trouble: Dance(★)/Cry for Love/Runaway(★)/She Knows(★)/ Save My Love/We All Fall Down/I Need An Angel (★) THIN LIZZY and others (3 songs) Cold Sweat/Please Don't Leave Me/Dancing in the Moonlight *Note: "★" marks are official "SCREAMING BLUE" Songs that can't be heard on "MURDER". ...and it looks like this. It is surprising that there is no special “Still Of The Night”, but this is not a recording omission, and it seems that it was not played on the day (the end of the performance announcement will be played after “Dancing in the Moonlight”). Instead (?) There are five songs that cannot be heard on the official edition, mainly "NOTHING BUT TROUBLE", but these can not be heard on the later "BAD BOY LIVE!", especially "Dance", "Runaway", " "I Need An Angel" was not played during the SYKES era either. As a matter of fact, BLUE MURDER does not have many live performances worldwide, and if it is rare in Japan, it is extremely rare in the world. This work is a live album that allows you to experience the best of such live performances. John Sykes was blessed with a lot of talent, but his ambition and passion didn't last long, and he never became a legend. It may have been during the ``NOTHING BUT TROUBLE'' era, which also revived the THIN LIZZY tradition, that his music blossomed in its most diverse form. This work is a newly discovered live album that allows you to experience the full show of that era. First audience recording of the "December 7, 1993: Nagoya Civic Hall" performance. The sound directly digitized from the original DAT master has a strong core and a neat reverberation. There are some scenes where the vocals are so powerful that they momentarily over peak, but those are very few. The guitar's large swinging vibrato is delicate, and the harmonics are sharply drawn. You can also enjoy "Dance", "Runaway", "She Knows", "I Need An Angel", and "Blue Murder" which cannot be heard on the official "SCREAMING BLUE MURDER".
