Digitally transferred directly from the master cassette, this recording offers exceptional clarity for the time, even in mono, with excellent balance across all parts, including vocals. Pitch discrepancies due to the master recording have also been carefully corrected. This recording also features a joint performance with British post-punk/pop band Squeeze. The set list included seven songs from their debut album, including the opening debut single "X Offender," and ten songs from "PLASTIC LETTERS," including the single "Denis," released in February of the same year, which reached number two on the UK charts and made it into the top 20 in most European countries, including number one in the Netherlands.At the end of the encore, they also played a cover of the New York Dolls' "Jet Boy"!
