A new label specializing in Ritchie Blackmore. This week, two titles will be released simultaneously to celebrate its birth, and this is one of them, an audience album that includes BLACKMORE'S NIGHT's first visit to Japan, "November 7, 1997." The venue is "Osaka Festival Hall", which was also the main venue for "MADE IN JAPAN". The first Japan tour will have a total of 8 performances, and the releases have been compiled this week, so let's take a look at them one by one. ・November 2nd: Nakano Sunplaza ・November 3rd: Aichi Welfare Pension Hall ・November 4th: Kobe International House Harborland Plaza ・November 6th: Hiroshima Postal Savings Hall ・November 7th: Osaka Festival Hall [・November 8th: Tokyo International Forum ・November 10th: Kanagawa Kenmin Hall ・November 11th: Sendai Sunplaza Hall As you can see, this work was the only Osaka performance of the 7th performance. As mentioned in the simultaneously released "KOBE 1997 (Black Box 001)", this Japan tour was BLACKMORE'S NIGHT's first public performance, and it featured not only Candice Knight, who had just become a professional, but also Richie Black. A moment when More wants to open up a new world of music. Each performance was an interesting tour as we were constantly exploring new places, audiences, and music. In fact, the performance of this work is also very innocent. If it's a normal band or tour, things get better after about 5 or 6 performances, but since it's their first time together, both the audience and the band are filled with the freshness of meeting each other for the first time. Amidst all this freshness, Ritchie Blackmore, the most important figure, appears to be in a somewhat relaxed mood. This tour had a very different musical style from DEEP PURPLE and RAINBOW, and the venue was full of venues that Richie had never set foot in before, but Osaka Festival Hall was the only venue that Richie was familiar with. It was the venue. The number started from the first day of DEEP PURPLE's first visit to Japan, and this was the 11th performance. In the history of Richie's performances in Japan, it was the stage that took place second only to Nippon Budokan. And the same goes for the audience. Audiences gathered all over the place to experience Ritchie's new world, but there were some venues where the mood was tense due to the anticipation and tension. However, at the Osaka performance, perhaps because it was a "usual venue", there was no tension and the mood was very good. Of course, there is no uproar like at a rock concert, but the cheers are warm. It was my first time performing, but it was the only concert I performed in front of a familiar audience at a familiar venue. That is this Osaka performance. The deliciousness of Osaka Festival Hall is not only the atmosphere, but also the wonderful acoustics of the venue, which has been praised as ``the best in Osaka'' and ``a hall created by God.'' This work also uses the original master made by the same recording artist as “KOBE 1997”, and the sound is exquisite. "KOBE 1997" also impressed me with its wonderful sound, but this work is no less impressive. Although it is a traditional venue that has continued to produce high-quality recordings since PURPLE's first visit to Japan in 1972, at the acoustic BLACKMORE'S NIGHT, you can feel the wonderful acoustics. Also, the set list is delicious. Unlike the Kobe performance, which was cut short due to travel time, the main performance will feature “Memmingen,” “Greensleeves,” and “No Second Chance” from “SHADOW OF THE MOON.” Even more pleasing is the encore electric set. After closing with “Writing On The Wall” just like the Kobe performance, Richie’s fingertips pull out “Man On The Silver Mountain”! In addition, “Spirit Of The Sea” and “Street Of Dreams” will be played in quick succession. Although it's not "only in Osaka," the enthusiasm it received was unique to Osaka. The moment the intro of “Street Of Dreams” rang out, the roar was overwhelming. The 2,700-person chorus will add color to Candace's singing voice, and the finale will be a huge success. BLACKMORE'S NIGHT visited Japan twice in 1997 and 2004 and performed a total of 13 performances, but only once was at the same venue as the rock era, this Osaka Festival Hall. Richie returns with new music to the stage he first stepped on in Japan in 1972. This is a live album that perfectly depicts the memorial performance, with all the performances, acoustics, and audience, created by a master craftsman. This is also ``MADE IN JAPAN'' by BLACKMORE'S NIGHT. Please enjoy it to the fullest. Live at Festival Hall, Osaka, Japan 7th November 1997 PERFECT SOUND(from Original Masters) Disc 1 (56:55) 1.
