This work contains seven types of professional shots from 1970, when BLACK SABBATH debuted, totaling about 92 minutes. It can be divided into three parts, so let's take a closer look at each one. [May 25, 1970: Bremen (BEAT-CLUB)] The first video to appear is a famous one that represents the band's debut. These are four songs that were broadcast on the West German famous program "BEAT-CLUB." In fact, two songs were filmed separately, with "Black Sabbath" and "Blue Suede Shoes" recorded on "May 25," and "Iron Man" and "Paranoid" were filmed on an unknown date. It was once said to be "September 26," but it has been revealed that this was the broadcast date. This video has been commercialized many times, perhaps because the rights were unclear. Half-official works such as "THE BEST OF MUSIKLADEN LIVE" and the CDV "BLACK MASS" have been loved. This work is different from those, and is a completely official release version that is considered to be the highest peak. Although this box set is highly regarded as a masterpiece with a superb remaster, it is difficult to obtain now that 14 years have passed since its release. This work reproduces such exquisite visual beauty. And the live performance depicted with that quality is the best. It is not a concert but a live performance in a studio on a television appearance, and the frames and image processing that decorate them like a photo booth and the feeling of the era are perfect. Especially valuable is "Blue Suede Shoes". Of course, it is a cover of Elvis, but it is a very rare song that has only been played once before and after. In fact, the TV station at the time demanded a cover because they were troubled by heavy and incomprehensible original songs. It was performed almost without any preparation. It is amazing that it turned out so well, but this is also typical of them right after their debut. In fact, the first album "BLACK SABBATH" was also produced almost entirely in a studio live performance, and they performed cover songs "Warning" and "Evil Woman" on stage. It is their debut album and this album that officially leave one side of them as cover masters. [October 3, 1970 Brussels performance] Next up is the pro shot of the Brussels performance, which is the super classic of the original SABBATH. It was broadcast on "ROCK OF THE SEVENTIES", but many people would rather say "1970 Paris performance". However, recent research has revealed that "in fact, it is a Brussels performance, not Paris". This work contains the highest peak version of such a super famous video ever. "THE ULTIMATE OZZY OSBOURNE YEARS" version master. It has been seven years since the excavation, but the throne is still unshakable. In fact, it was recently uploaded to the BLACK SABBATH official account on Youtube, but it has not surpassed the "THE ULTIMATE OZZY OSBOURNE YEARS" version. Moreover, the credit remains "Paris performance", and it is an incomplete version with a cut. It is a vertex master that cannot be surpassed even by the official. The super classic pro shot drawn with that visual beauty is truly supreme. All songs from the smash hit "PARANOID" were performed except for "Planet Caravan" and "Electric Funeral", and the early condensed set was sprinkled with "Black Sabbath", "N.I.B." and "Behind The Wall Of Sleep". Moreover, the band's potential, which had been playing a series of great masterpieces, was at full throttle. Needless to say, this is one of the most important images not only of BLACK SABBATH but also of British rock as a whole. This is the highest version. [Six more treasured professional shots] In fact, 1970 was a rare era of pro shots in the history of SABBATH. Although the above two types are famous, many other detailed professional shots have been unearthed. This work covers all the currently known professional footage. Let's take a closer look. ●DOEBIDOE TV (1 song) The first to appear is the Dutch TV program "DOEBIDOE", which appeared on "May 22, 1970", three days before "BEAT-CLUB". Although it is a monochrome mime, "N.I.B." is performed in a studio performance similar to "BEAT-CLUB". ●ROCK CIRCUS (2 songs + α) The pro shot that follows is a treasure! The West German program "ROCK CIRCUS" on June 21, 1970. This is a multi-camera pro shot one month after "BEAT CLUB". It is not a complete performance, but the quality is just amazing. The back of the building is clearly beautiful and has no blurring. It is a completely official pro shot that is superb even by today's digital standards, without the pillow words "for those days" and "for analog shooting". "War Pigs" is also an early version of the temporary lyrics called "Walpurgis". Moreover, the sense of the era of 1970 is tremendous. If the huge subtitles are vintage, then for some reason "Iron Man" who gets up in the ring and plays is also vintage. Again, the image quality and sound quality are astonishing, and a version with different lyrics is played out. Furthermore, the scene of the enthusiastic audience and the relaxed interview outdoors gives off a late hippie vibe. Where on earth was all this footage left? If the rest is discovered, it will definitely be the biggest and strongest in the history of BLACK SABBATH. This is an amazing professional shot that you should definitely unearth. ●BILZEN FESTIVAL (1 song) The third is another super valuable black and white video. It is an indoor studio live called "BILZEN BLUES AND JAZZ FESTIVAL" on August 21, 1970. On a TV program when "PARANOID" was completed but not yet released, the single "Paranoid", which was released prior to the album, is played almost in full. The sound is not as good as "ROCK CIRCUS", but the image quality is also superb. It is a strange professional shot where the live is indoors but the audience is outdoors. ●MONTREUX FESTIVAL (1 song) followed 10 days later. This is a black and white news video of the "Montreux performance on August 31, 1970". "N.I.B." only appears briefly among various bands, but the camera was also there that day... This is a super valuable video that gives a glimpse of the "other side" of the main press CD. ●TOP OF THE POPS appearance (1 song) Another superb official professional shot! This was an appearance on the famous British program "TOP OF THE POPS" on September 24, 1970 (9 days after the above Brussels), about a week after the release of "PARANOID". Although it is only one song "Paranoid", the beauty of the video is even more amazing than "BEAT-CLUB". This is a masterpiece pro shot where the audience in the studio dances wildly with a sense of the times, but because it was unearthed after the release of "THE ULTIMATE OZZY OSBOURNE YEARS", you can't see that masterpiece. This is one of the most beautiful pro shots in this work. ●TOP POP appearance (1 song) The last is a black and white pro shot from "September 29, 1970" five days later. This is a video of the appearance on the Dutch TV program "TOP POP". There is only one song, Mime's "Paranoid", but this was included in the official history DVD "THE BLACK SABBATH STORY VOL.1" and is literally of official quality. It is 11 days after the release of "PARANOID", and you can enjoy the appearance of the four young people who were sweeping the world. Above are 6 types, 20 songs, and about 92 minutes of super-excellent multi-camera pro shots. This is a compilation of professional footage left in 1970, when BLACK SABBATH was a revolutionary. Normally, this work would be a masterpiece that should be pressed, but next year will be the 50th anniversary of their debut, so there may be some amazing new discoveries...
