In 1990's "TYR", which was produced as the third album in the Tony Martin era, Cozy remained in the band (against most expectations), and Neil, who had been welcomed into the band from the previous "HEADLESS CROSS" tour, was released. Murray also participated fully, much to the delight of fans who love melodious British rock. After releasing the album, the band started a UK tour with a performance in Wolverhampton on September 1, 1990. Although there were some cancellations in the latter half of the tour, they performed wonderfully in various parts of the UK, exceeding fans' expectations. In this work "TYR U.K.", the fourth performance, September 5th in Cambridge, and the sixth performance, London's "Hammersmith Odeon" performance, are both recorded with excellent audience recordings. The Cambridge performance recorded on Discs 1 and 2 is a perfect score for listening to the tight and punchy sound image from the opening “Neon Knights”. In particular, the sense of rhythmic presence is wonderful, with Neil's bass line and Cozy's sharp drumming clearly emerging. As the live progresses, the brightness improves greatly, and once the sound is settled from the latter half of “Iron Man” to “Children Of The Grave”, from then on you will be able to enjoy the live performance with one of the best sounds even in audience recordings from the same period. This “TYR” tour saw a big change in the set list, and the live opening changed from “Anno Mundi” from the Wolverhampton performance on the first day to “Neon Knights.” In the second and third songs, a medley of "Iron Man" and "Children Of The Grave" suddenly appears, making it a composition that even avid SABBATH enthusiasts will be surprised by. It also features many songs written after Martin joined, as if to proclaim the arrival of the Martin era. “Headless Cross” and “When Death Calls” are repeated from the MC who says “From the last tour which was very successful”. Furthermore, "The Shining" jumps out, showing off the melodious charm of SABBATH that is not only heavy and eerie. The point of the 1990 tour is that you can listen to medleys including solos, jams, and songs that are similar to what was done in the 1970s. Neil's bass solo leads to "Heart Like A Wheel," Iommi's guitar solo that includes the instrumental jam of "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath," and "The Law." Maker'' and Koji's drum solo using ``Mars'', the sequence of events is truly the highlight of the live performance (in addition to recording songs that do not affect the flow of the medley, Cozy's 10-minute solo is recorded with excellent sound quality. I can assure you that being able to enjoy it is a big advantage of this work)! The second half of the live performance on Disc 2 is also a series of listening stations. “Black Sabbath”, which uses “Sign Of The Southern Cross”, a masterpiece from Ronnie’s era, as the intro was arranged up to this time. The following “Die Young” concludes the main part of the set with great dynamism. As with the '89 tour, the encore suite of "Heaven And Hell" and "Paranoid" was played with great excitement, and the live came to a grand conclusion with the best mood! And what you can enjoy on Discs 3 and 4 is the first day of the London "Hammersmith Odeon" performance, which was held for two consecutive days. The powerful sound image is more impressive than the Cambridge performance, with a richer sense of reality and sound spread, and the sound clarity and clarity are at a level that can be said to be exquisite. It allows you to vividly relive a live performance at a traditional venue. Martin will show off his vocals which can be said to be in top condition from “Neon Knights”, and “Anno Mundi”, which could not be heard at the Cambridge performance, will entertain you with a performance that is as good as the album. Not to be outdone, Cozy's drums also liven up "Iron Man", "Children Of The Grave" and "Headless Cross" with a powerful sound. Iommi plays a crisp solo with a sense of stability, and his playing on “Neon Knights” and “When Death Calls” will definitely catch the ears of fans! The medley in the middle of the live performance starting with “The Shining” and the bass solo is also worth listening to here. Unfortunately, Iommi's solo "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" fades, but Cozy's drum solo is recorded with sound quality and ease of listening comparable to the Cambridge performance, which will make all Cozy fans happy. It should be! “Sign Of The Southern Cross”, which was used as the intro to “Black Sabbath” at the Cambridge performance, slides to the beginning of “Die Young”. The famous songs from Ronnie's era flow seamlessly together. And the biggest surprise of this Hammersmith performance will happen in the encore. QUEEN's Brian May appears as a guest on the first encore suite of "Heaven And Hell" and "Paranoid"! In the middle of the song, you can hear a wonderful solo interaction with Iommi (the performance is about 4 minutes longer than usual). Furthermore, Geezer Butler appears in "Black Sabbath", which was played at the end only on this day. In the scene where SABBATH's original members line up on stage, the scene where the venue is filled with excitement and enthusiasm is realistically recorded. The audience's cries of ``I can't believe it!'' and ``Oh! Geezer!'' in this opening scene make even those of us who are listening feel excited! This work features two ``TYR'' live performances that are highly supported by fans, both with top-notch audience sound, and even includes a live performance featuring Brian May and Geezer Butler, which was the highlight of the UK tour. This is the content that can be asserted as the highest peak of the live sound source on the ``TYR'' tour. An exceptional 4-disc set that will delight and satisfy all SABBATH fans.
