"It's not me who wants to retire. It's BLACK SABBATH. Tony Iommi wants to do 80 shows, so we'll do 80 shows. Personally, I wouldn't mind extending the tour a few more shows. But that's not the case." (Ozzy Osbourne) With these words, the final performance in Birmingham was announced for the disbandment tour “THE END”. At this point, there were still a few performances short of the ``80 performances'', and there was still hope that Ichiru would miraculously come back to Japan, but the schedule for all 80 performances was finally released. Let's take a look at the full story here. ・January-March 2016: North America leg #1 (18 performances) ・April 2016: Oceania leg (7 performances) ・June-July 2016: Europe leg (17 performances)《Now here》 ・2016 August-September 2016: North America leg #2 (19 performances) November-December 2016: North America leg #3 & South America leg (10 performances) January-February 2017: UK leg (9 performances)《BLACK SABBATH disbanded》 80 performances in total. Physically, there are dates available in the latter half of December, but now that they have clearly announced ``80 performances,'' a return visit to Japan has been virtually ruled out. Regret. I'm so disappointed. Another superb live album has appeared that will dispel those regrets... no, it will make you even more excited. This work is an audience album of "July 12, 2016 Moscow Performance". As mentioned above, “THE END” is currently finishing its last European date, but this is the last day. Most recently, we reported on "LATVIA 2016 (Shades 665)", so let's take a look at the distance from there. ・July 5, 2016: Riga (Latvia) → "LATVIA 2016" ・July 7, 2016: Helsinki (Finland) ・July 9, 2016: Stockholm (Sweden) ・July 12, 2016: Moscow (Russia) → [This work] This is the last four performances of the "European leg". It was the final part of the tour around Northern and Eastern Europe, and the show was exactly one week after the Latvia performance. “LATVIA 2016” was a masterpiece with exquisite high sound quality and Ozzy’s best condition, but this work is no less wonderful. First of all, the quality is excellent. “THE END” has been repeatedly recorded from the beginning “North America #1” to the point where it is repeatedly called “sound source abnormal situation”, so it is difficult to say that “this is No. 1” lightly, but the book The production is also outstanding. The extremely thick musical tone can be said to be "like a sound board" without hesitation, and the direct feeling with almost no sense of distance is also superb. This time too, there is nothing to complain about, and I can only say that it is an “official class audience”. For SABBATH fans, “abnormal” may feel like “normal”, but no matter how advanced the equipment is in the modern era, it is hard to find such a super rich harvest. Although Dave Gilmore and Paul McCartney also have high-quality rushes, “THE END” is on a completely different level in terms of frequency and average. Even though the environments and recording artists are completely different all over the world, the high quality of the sound is at a level that is impossible to release, but it still won't stop... In addition to the sound, another point is “Ozzy’s tone”. This work is also very good. Normally, I would be tired and exhausted on the last day of the leg, but this time, the second half of the European leg was much better. Of course, since it's Ozzy, it's impossible for him to "overwhelm you with a perfect passionate performance," and there are moments in this album as well, such as "After Forever" and "Dirty Women," where you're like, "Oh, that's crazy..." . However, if he had a bad day, he would say, ``I did it!'' but instead, he sticks it out and sings high-pitched melodies. The other songs have good vocal progression, and don't stagnate until the last song, "Paranoid." Even the difficult song ``Snowblind'' is enjoyable to listen to. It can be said to be the "third peak of the European leg" following "LATVIA 2016" and "BUDAPEST 2016". This Russian performance was the 42nd performance out of a total of 80 performances. “THE END” has finally passed the halfway mark. The hope of performing in Japan is extinct, and now I just pray that Ozzy will say, “Did you say that?” However, even though “THE END” would end with “it didn’t come” for ordinary fans, we can walk together with the sound source. You can experience the ``special present'' with ultra-high quality sound created by recording artists from all over the world with passion and belief. When it's all over, will the only feeling that remains in your heart be, ``It didn't come?'' or ````THE END'' was special.'' More than just a great live album, this is a record that allows you to empathize with the last days of a traditional band, and the "now" that will never return.
