The opening of this work is the "PARANOID" session that took place at "Island Studios" on June 19, 1970. This two-part series was leaked from the eight master CDs for the official Dela Eddie, and this session is the fifth volume (the first, second and third volumes are the sister work "STUDIO OUTTAKES 1969", and the fourth volume is the bonus disc of "PARANOID" Dela Eddie itself. This work is the next one). Some sources say that the "PARANOID" session was "June 16-18", but the master for this work seems to say "June 19". The contents are three takes of "Paranoid" and four takes of "Rat Salad". All of them are different from the "PARANOID" Dela Eddie, especially "Paranoid" is a different version with vocals. In addition, this work includes "Paranoid (Clean Also included is "Master of Reality Sessions (January: 7 takes + 2)". This is a different mix with the same performance as the official final take, but with a more raw vocal sound. Second half of DISC 1: MASTER OF REALITY Sessions (January: 7 takes + 2) The only outtakes from "PARANOID" are the above 8 takes, and the rest of this work is the outtakes from "MASTER OF REALITY". Of the 8 master CDs excavated for Dela Eddy, these are the 7th and 8th volumes. *Side note: Volume 6 was not released in this excavation. However, according to Martin Popoff's famous book "BLACK SABBATH FAQ", only Volume 6 is a live recording, and it is said that the track list and recording time may refer to "MONTREUX 1970". The "MASTER OF REALITY" sessions for this work are "January 1, 1971 / May 25, 1971 / May 26, 1971", and the second half of DISC 1 is the recording from "January 1". It is generally believed that "MASTER OF REALITY" was produced from February to May 1971, but that was the actual recording for the album. It seems that the songwriting session that took place in January was before the actual recording. Here, "Into The Void" and its original song "Spanish Sid", as well as "Weevil Woman" and "After Forever" were produced. "Weevil Woman" is an unalbum song that saw the light of day in "MASTER OF REALITY" Dela Eddie. The two tracks "Into The Void (Unprocessed Vocals)" and "After Forever (Alt. Mix)" are different from the leaked master. It is a different mix that utilizes the official final version. DISC 2: MASTER OF REALITY session (May: 20 takes) DISC 2 is also an outtake from "MASTER OF REALITY". The first 15 takes are from the "May 25" session, and include plenty of different versions of the five songs "Sweet Leaf", "Orchid", "Lord Of This World", "Embryo", and "Children Of The Grave". The last 5 takes are from the "May 26" session the following day, "Live In The Graveyard" and "Solitude". "Live In The Graveyard" is an unfamiliar song title, but it is the SE at the end of "Children Of The Grave". It is a long version of the part credited as "The Haunting" on the North American version of "MASTER OF REALITY". Incidentally, the leaked masters (volumes 7 and 8) of the "MASTER OF REALITY" sessions released online also included a sound effect track titled "The Sea That Never Came". However, it turned out that this was a performance by another band that was left on tape. It was determined that it was not BLACK SABBATH, so it is not included in this work (by the way, its true identity is a variable-speed playback of TRAPEZE's "Medusa". It remains a mystery why "Medusa", which has a different studio and producer, was recorded on the session tape of "MASTER OF REALITY"...).
