Following "LIVE LONGEST...DIE AT LAST", which shocked all enthusiasts immediately after its appearance, the definitive sound source of '70s BLACK SABBATH will be released once again! From the '76 "TECHNICAL ECSTASY" tour and the '78 "NEVER SAY DIE!" tour, two live performances at the "Civic Arena" in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania are packaged with official sound board sound sources! This is a must-listen big title for SABBATH enthusiasts that includes newly discovered material! Speaking of the live performances of "TECHNICAL ECSTASY" and "NEVER SAY DIE!", it is a time when there is a remarkable re-evaluation due to a number of recently discovered sound sources such as "KILLING YOURSELF TO DIE: The Legendary Master" and "SABBATH IN FRESNO". In particular, "SABBATH IN FRESNO" was an excellent item that felt like a fixed-point observation of a live performance at the same venue with outstanding audience sound, and received extremely high praise from enthusiasts. This work that appears this time realizes the concept of "SABBATH IN FRESNO" with a sound board sound source. Now you can enjoy the live performances at the same venue in '76 and '78 with a line source that rivals "LIVE LONGEST...DIE AT LAST"! For Pittsburgh performances in 1976 and 1978, the four-song source broadcast by "King Biscuit Flower Hour" for many years was the standard. Five or six years ago, long stereo line sound sources for both appeared (albeit incomplete versions), and ``WAR MEMORIAL'' for 1976 and ``BRITISH BISCUIT'' for 1978 became popular with fans as standard. It was loved. However, just the other day, a new master from 1976 was discovered overseas! The contents, which are considered to be at the top of conventional long-form sources, are surprising, such as a clear and refreshing outlook that assures a higher level of freshness than previous releases, and a more correct song order. This new sound source was recorded on Disc 1 of this work. The intro “Supertzar” has been cut as before, but Iommi’s guitar and Ozzy’s vocals that clearly emerge with the sound directly connected to the line are more vivid than those already released from “Symptom Of The Universe”. Bill Ward's drums that can be played to the left and right of the channel, and Geezer Butler's bass that undulates and bends will make listeners clap their hands and say, "This is Sabbath!" This sense of separation and sharpness is a sound that can only be experienced with line sauce! “Snowblind” and “All Moving Parts (Stand Still)”, which had been switched in the song order for some reason in the past recordings, are now placed in the first half of the live, before “War Pigs”, and the flow of the live is also It feels more natural. The line sources for the new songs “All Moving Parts (Stand Still)” and “Gypsy” from “TECHNICAL ECSTASY” are important parts that can only be heard here. The song's idea, which largely features Gerald Woodruff's keyboard, shows its true value only with an excellent line source like this one. The middle section, where the eerie "Black Sabbath" and the dramatic "Dirty Woman" are repeated, is the highlight of Disc 1. Although the medley from “Dirty Women” to “Electric Funeral” with the drum solo and guitar solo in between has been heavily edited as before, you will be happy to be able to easily listen to the key points of the live without getting bored. There is also an audience recording on this day, but the last “Children Of The Grave” that cannot be heard there is a big point. The last part concludes with a powerful scream as Ozzy lets out a roar! It has already been more than five years since the release of the previously released "WAR MEMORIAL", and since it has been hoped that an upgraded version of this sound source will appear, the release of the CD based on newly discovered sources can be said to be a long-awaited event for fans. ! Next, Disc 2 includes the sound source from September 2nd from the "10th Anniversary World Tour" held in 1978 after the release of "NEVER SAY DIE!". As mentioned above, "BRITISH BISCUIT", which is a set of radio broadcast sound source and long version, already exists as a standard, but the radio broadcast material recorded there is "Reel tape taken from a radio station in Southern Illinois. It is said that it is the best sound source. Although it was only 4 songs long (``Snowblind'', ``Black Sabbath'', ``Iron Man'', and ``Paranoid''), it surprised enthusiasts with comments such as ``It's more powerful than the full-length SBD!'' This time, in order to keep pace with the new material released in 1976, this is a hybrid of the long version and this "reel tape version". The upgrade that enthusiasts have once imagined has been realized with a complete remaster! The long version has a very clear balance and separation of each instrument, and in particular, Geezer's bass can be heard with a solid presence. Although this broadcast has had a reputation for good sound quality for many years, it can be said that it is a "reel tape version", and the power and depth of the sound cannot be compared with the air check version. By remastering in line with the other 7 takes, there is no sense of discomfort in the connecting parts, and you can listen to it all at once as a consistent live album. Disc 1's '76 edition focused on the first half of the show, but this '78 edition contains plenty of the latter half. The ``Dirty Women'' medley, which was edited in the '76 full-length version, is also included here, including the drum solo that continues with ``Rock 'N' Roll Doctor,'' and the guitar solo that lasts over 9 minutes. “Sabbath Bloody Sabbath” is also featured in this guitar solo (albeit without a song), making it a great listening point for the live performance. The flow from the guitar solo and jam to the climax of "Electric Funeral" and "Children Of The Grave" is common to the "TECHNICAL ECSTASY" tour, but this disc 2 also includes "Iron Man", "Fairies Wear Boots", and the encore " You can enjoy up to "Paranoid". In fact, the '76 and '78 tours were extremely similar in set list and arrangement, and are famous as the "twin tours" in Sabbath history. In other words, although the tours are different, you can enjoy it as “the whole show + α” by listening to “the thick ’76 show in the first half” and the “78 year full in the second half”! With the arrival of this work, which is the last piece missing in the original SABBATH sound source puzzle, the live albums of the '70s are now complete. You can enjoy the very early days with "MONTREUX 1970", which has become an absolute necessity, and the DVD "THE OZZY OSBOURNE TEARS Ultimate Edition", "LIVE AT LAST" for the "VOL.4" tour, and "SABBATH BLOODY SABBATH" period "1974" (Disc 3) contains the big stage "California Jam", "LIVE LONGEST...DIE AT LAST" for "SABOTAGE", and this work of "TECHNICAL ECSTASY" and "NEVER SAY DIE!". Along with the studio album, please enjoy the early SABBATH live history on the press CD!
