Finally, the best live album from the unfortunate “TYR TOUR 1990” is here! It was really, really long. The super masterpiece ``TYR'' depicts the height of Sabbath's stylistic beauty that surpasses even the famous album ``HEAVEN AND HELL'', but has been at the mercy of the times. Because it's an album that has been "mastered," the tour was met with enthusiasm from enthusiasts, but that's only for enthusiasts. “TYR TOUR”, which was ignored by the times, had an extremely short schedule and very few live records. Even in “HEADLESS TOUR” there are no sound boards or professional shots left. We have archived the scene of such "TYR TOUR" with many masterpiece audience recordings, but unfortunately there were none of good quality. but! Such a frustrating situation is now in the past. Two super powerful live albums are finally being released at the same time. One is the traditional Milan recording "MILAN 1990", and the other is this work. This is a super-excellent audience recording of "October 22, 1990 Osnabrück Performance". Although “TYR TOUR” is short, the set varies depending on the time. First of all, let’s check the whole tour in order to understand the two major peaks of simultaneous release in terms of position. [TYR released on August 6th]・September 1st-13th: UK (10 performances)・September 25th-October 2nd: Italy (6 performances)・October 3rd-6th: Switzerland (3 performances) ・October 8 + 9: Austria (2 performances) ・October 10-24: Germany #1 (11 performances) ←★Here★ ・October 26-November 1: Scandinavia/ Belgium/Netherlands (5 performances) November 3rd-28th: Germany #2/Luxembourg (7 performances) <<December: Geezer Butler returns>> A total of 44 performances. Normally, we would have finished with "Europe (44 performances)," but this tour did not go to Japan or even North America, but only to Europe. I wrote it in a little more detail. Among them, the main one was undoubtedly Germany. A total of 17 performances were held, surpassing their home country of England. The Osnabrück performance of this work was the 10th concert. [The most sound-like new peak] This work, which includes such a show, is a live album that will be the "new peak of TYR TOUR." The recording itself has been known for a long time and has been called one of the best recordings of the tour. However, this work is different from that. This is a new master that was recently discovered, and it is a super quality product that has been overwhelmingly upgraded. The conventional master also had a powerful sound that did not give a sense of distance, but unfortunately the balance was poor. There was an oddity in the stereo sound between left and right, with the left channel having a harsh treble, and the further into the second half the balance became unbalanced. What was even more difficult was the bass. Although it was powerful, the sound was bouncy, had a sweet outline, and had a vague deep bass that enveloped everything. This work resolves all such existing shortcomings. The new master has a strong bass and a clear outline. It does not overwhelm the middle and high tones, and vividly brings out the beautiful melodies of master Neil Murray. On top of that, we also carry out the latest and meticulous remastering. The already powerful sound doesn't even need to increase the sound pressure, just the balance has been thoroughly adjusted. The bass, which has become more vivid with the new master, has been adjusted to the "ensemble balance" level, and the stereo abnormality mentioned above has also been corrected. The pitch, which was off by nearly 1/4 tone in the original sound, has been adjusted to just the right pitch. The sound that was created in this way is truly superb. So far, the best of "TYR TOUR" that has been certified by enthusiasts around the world is the Milan performance, and the Osnabrück performance came in second place. The new master of the St. Wendel performance (ST. WENDEL 1990) entered there and competed for the top three. However, with the release of "MILAN 1990" and this work, Milan and Osnabrück have returned to the top two. Moreover, this work is the most intense in terms of upgrades, and is comparable to "MILAN 1990"...No, it surpasses even the Milan performance in terms of dynamic closeness and powerful listening response, and is "closest to a soundboard". It is finished as a live album. [The ultimate show that embodies the essence of style Sabbath] “TYR TOUR” depicted with that sound is truly a beautiful Shangri-La of style. It's a shame that you can't hear Cozy's drum solo unlike "MILAN 1990" at the beginning of the tour, but the flow and ensemble that have been refined over the years are truly wonderful. “The Sabbath Stones” is a symbol of this. It is a super masterpiece that follows the flow of Ozzy's "Black Sabbath" and Ronnie's "Heaven And Hell" and goes from heavy to furious, but this is a transcendent version that easily surpasses even the masterpiece "TYR". . The cozy intro that sounds like driving a stake roars majestically, and Neil's mellow bass line, which was not clear in the studio version, dances vividly. Then, while carefully depicting the solemn world, the second half suddenly accelerates! Even though the heavy tank bass drum was charging, there was no disturbance at all, and it simply ran through beautifully and solemnly. Heavy→Fast has been SABBATH's specialty since their debut, and this work's "The Sabbath Stones" is at its peak. You can enjoy hidden super masterpieces that cannot be heard even in “MILAN 1990” with the best sound. In addition to such "The Sabbath Stones", there are plenty of dramatic mid-range numbers such as "Headless Cross", "When Death Calls", "Anno Mundi (The Vision)", "Black Sabbath" and "Heaven And Hell". Of course, in between, fast songs such as “Neon Knights”, “Children Of The Grave”, “Die Young” and “The Law Maker” run splendidly. A collection of songs with extreme weight and speed, and an even tighter composition and ensemble. It is truly the pinnacle of “TYR TOUR”. Furthermore, a fun feature exclusive to “TYR TOUR” is the “Heart Like A Wheel” section sandwiched between bass solo/guitar solo. At this point, the tight ensemble suddenly loosens up, and a free jam mood unfolds that makes you feel like you're back in the 70s. Extremely beautiful, extremely majestic, and yet flexible. How wonderful “TYR TOUR” was, how ultimate the show was. It is a live album that proves it with the best sound. “TYR TOUR” has been hiding in the darkness of history while bursting with potential as a band that has produced rare masterpieces. This is a masterpiece of a live album that conveys the whole story with the highest quality sound. The pinnacle of tradition “MILAN 1990” is also wonderful, but this work is a new pinnacle work that shines with a soundboard-like dynamic sound and a polished ensemble! ! !
