BLACK SABBATH made a comeback in 1980 with the famous album “HEAVEN AND HELL” featuring Ronnie James Dio. The highest quality version ever of the only pro shot video is now available. [The only official professional shot of the HEAVEN AND HELL era] What is recorded in this work is a multi-camera professional shot of the "October 17, 1980 Long Island performance". Yes, the true identity of this work is the official video "BLACK & BLUE". The official product was a coupling with BLUE OYSTER CULT, but this is a live DVD that reconstructs only the BLACK SABBATH edition from the highest peak master and adds delicious bonus footage. Speaking of the “HEAVEN AND HELL Tour”, it is a memorable place because Bill Ward → Vinnie Appice was replaced midway through, and the legendary first visit to Japan was realized. Including those, let's first check the position of the show in the overall picture of the world tour. 1980《“HEAVEN AND HELL” released on April 25》・April 17-June 26: Europe (36 performances)・July 2-August 19: North America #1 (26 performances)《Building Withdrawal → Join Vinny》・August 31st - November 8th: North America #2 (42 performances)←★Coco★・November 16th - 21st: First visit to Japan (6 performances)・November 24th - 29th Sun: Australia (5 performances) January 18 - February 2, 1981: UK (14 performances) This is an overview of the “HEAVEN AND HELL Tour”. A total of 129 performances were held, but Bill and Vinnie had about half each. Under such circumstances, the Long Island performance of this work is “North America #2” immediately after Vinnie joined. This was the 30th concert. This "North America #2" is also known as the "BLACK & BLUE Tour", and most (but not all) are coupling performances with BLUE OYSTER CULT. Therefore, ``BLACK & BLUE'' was also planned as a coupling work. [Bonuses have also been added, complete coverage of professional shots in the highest quality] Although "BLACK & BLUE" was released on VHS/laser disc at the time, it has been out of print for a long time. In 2004, UNIVERSAL released an official DVD, but it has long since been discontinued, and now even second-hand and copy discs come with a premium price. This work is the highest version of such out-of-print footage. This has been re-edited from the official UNIVERSAL edition DVD, and not only has the BLACK SABBATH part been extracted, but the order of the songs, which had been significantly rearranged, has been adapted to the actual show. It has long been a popular gift title at our store and is always very popular. Therefore, we have decided to release the regular title, which can be purchased at any time, with the addition of bonus footage. In fact, the official video revived with the highest quality is a masterpiece. Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler have returned to their prime, and Ronnie, who is more aggressive than his RAINBOW days, goes wild and howls in multi-camera professional shots. Ronnie in particular is in the middle of a big break, and his actions and vocalizations are sharp. Although it has been a month and a half since Vinny joined, they have performed 30 performances intensively, and the ensemble has solidified and is also fiercely fresh. The joy of resurrection and the momentum of running up the ladder of success. There is an incredible chemical reaction going on. Even more interesting is Mike Trouble. At the end of the first song, "War Pigs," the song is turned off by the heroic sing-along, and Ronnie's voice can no longer be heard. Moreover, the problem did not recover even with the next "Neon Nights", and the song could not proceed beyond the intro. I get it back by going back to the sleeve and replacing the microphone, but it still cuts out momentarily and I'm nervous. Ronnie is also surprised and has a wry smile, but the action still manages to look flashy. That feeling of idling is really... Even so, it's hard to believe that they narrowed it down to seven songs, included the song that caused the problem, and commercialized it without any overdubs. Even though it was in 1980, the dawn of home video, you could say it was too bold to be official, or you could go full circle and say it was official... However, the performance itself is so amazing that even such troubles are blown away. And bonus footage. Added video clips for two songs, "Die Young" and "Neon Knights," and completely covers all professional shots produced during the "HEAVEN AND HELL" era. This PV is also familiar, but the quality is not. Contains the "VH1 Classic" version that was broadcast for the promotion of "THE DIO YEARS" in 2007. This is a master that is considered "best quality" by researchers. For example, the PV itself is also uploaded from Rhino's official channel, a major video site, but this one is of higher quality. In the video site version, the yellow has faded and is biased towards red, there is deterioration noise, and some of the audio has been replaced with a CD (probably because the master had deteriorated over time, it was repaired). However, the “VH1 Classic” version has almost no deterioration, probably because it was broadcast in 2007, and the color dynamism is as beautiful as it was back then. In addition, short film footage shot for the promotion of "LIVE EVIL" has also been leaked, but "BLACK & BLUE" and the PV are basically all the official pro shots from the 1980s Ronnie era. This work is one that has been corrected with the highest version of that valuable official video. It is no exaggeration to say that it has the same value as ``HEAVEN AND HELL'' itself, so please take your time and enjoy this treasure from the Ronnie era. Multi-camera professional shot of "October 17, 1980 Long Island Performance". This DVD is a re-edited version of the Sabbath edition from the out-of-print official video ``BLACK & BLUE'', which was released in conjunction with BLUE OYSTER CULT. Using the highest quality master, the song order has been reconstructed according to the actual concert. In addition, bonus clips of "Die Young" and "Neon Knights" have been added, and all professional shots produced during the "HEAVEN AND HELL" era are completely covered in the highest version. It is exactly the same big decision board as “HEAVEN AND HELL”. Nassau Coliseum, Long Island, NY, USA 17th October 1980 PRO-SHOT(BEST QUAILTY)1. War Pigs 2. Neon Knights 3. N.I.B. 4.
