From BLACK SABBATH's 1983 "BORN AGAIN" world tour with Ian Gillan, we have released a noteworthy item that includes three performances from the North American tour, all recorded with high-quality audience sources for the first time. SABBATH started their European tour on August 18, 1983 in Norway, and concluded with a performance in Nijmegen, Netherlands on October 3, and began a full-fledged North American tour with a performance in Quebec City, Canada, on October 20. did. Ian Gillan recalls, ``It was the biggest scale tour for me since DEEP PURPLE in the 1970s,'' and was supported by the strong sales of ``BORN AGAIN'' in North America, especially in Canada, and it surpassed the European tour in various places. They performed an enthusiastic live performance and gained enthusiastic support from the audience. The three performances recorded in this work are from the first half to the middle of the 1983 North American tour that ran until the end of November, and all of them directly convey to us the atmosphere of the venue, which was filled with excitement. . The Toronto, Canada performance recorded in Dics 1 and 2 is the 5th performance since the start of the North American tour. The band's performance has also completely recovered the show's intuition, and you can enjoy a fulfilling show from the beginning to the end. From the opening to "Children Of The Grave", the tape is distorted due to the condition of the material, and the pitch of the performance is somewhat unstable, but as much as possible has been corrected, so I think you can listen to it without much stress. From around the second song "Hot Line", it recovered, and from here on, you can enjoy the live performance in a stable state. Audience noise is almost unnoticeable, the outlook and the balance between each member are good, and the well-balanced sound can be said to be among the top audience materials from the same period. Gillan was in good condition on this day, and you can enjoy his powerful vocals in every song. In particular, his presence in the latter half of "War Pigs" and "Disturbing The Priest" is strong, and there are many happy takes for Guillain fans. Also, perhaps inspired by Gillan, who is doing well, the band had an impromptu jam session in the second half of "Heaven And Hell" before going into the guitar solo, making it a very fulfilling live performance. “Digital Bitch”, which is difficult to reproduce live, is also clearly determined, and it can be said that it is a live sound source that allows you to reaffirm the goodness of this era. The slightly faster pitch heard in the original sound has been accurately corrected overall. Included in Disc 3 and Disc 4 is the October 30th New York Uniondale performance. In the most recent performance, the masterpiece sound board sound source "CAPTURED ALIVE" is known, and the band's performance is also exquisite, and you can enjoy the live performance on the groove. The recording feels like the stage and taper are a little farther apart than the Toronto performance, but the good distance gives it the feel of an audience sound source, and the recording firmly packs the atmosphere and atmosphere of the venue, as well as the performance that spreads out wide with a clear view. You can experience a wonderful sense of reality. The quality of the recording is evident in the medley from “Supernaut” to “Rock’N’Roll Doctor,” and the scene where the audience clap their hands all at once to the rhythm of Bev Bevan is a bit of a spectacle. Gillan also enjoys singing songs that suit his personality, and the way he sings powerfully and lightly gives off a sense of stability, as if he has been with SABBATH for many years. In the following “Iron Man”, the heavy riffs of Iommi and Geezer create a thoroughly evil mood, and the battle between Gillan, who responds with a different approach from Ozzy and Ronnie, is fierce. Also, the audience when “Smoke On The Water” started at the encore was wonderful, and you can tell that all the fans at the venue were genuinely happy. In particular, the chorus part where the audience and band become one is a must-listen! Perhaps due to a tape change, the beginning of the guitar solo that continues from "Heaven And Hell" is missing, but the rest is in excellent condition from beginning to end, and you can immerse yourself in the content of the show without stress. The last Disc 5 and Disc 6 include the performance in Detroit, Michigan on November 11th. The sound source of this day is known by the title "DISTURBING THE DETROIT" among overseas enthusiasts, and this work has been treated to the master to make it easier to listen to, and is one of the best sounds in this work with high sound quality. We are realizing this. Gillan is doing well with a metallic sound image, and the performance is also a thrilling live performance that will keep your hands sweating, making it a sound source that ranks among the top audience sources for the 1983 American tour. From the opening song “Children Of The Grave”, the band is in great shape, with a heavy and aggressive performance to a three-dimensional sound that will drag the listener back to the venue 27 years ago! Gillan on this day was really amazing, and you can experience his goodness no matter where you listen to it, such as the raging song that can be heard at the beginning of “Distubing The Priest” and the skill to skillfully manipulate the audience with the introduction of “Supernaut”. Of course, Iommi and Geezer are not to be outdone either, with the dragging heavy riff unison on “Zero The Hero” and the sharp metallic edge and unique groove after the change in “Black Sabbath” being some of the best on the tour. It will be a performance with the quality of. Listening to this superb performance, the encore "Paranoid" promises a wonderful moment where you can best understand the destructive power of this unit. It's a shame that the instrumental "The Dark" at the beginning of "Zero The Hero" is missing, so it can't be said to be a complete recording, but I wouldn't be surprised if the original sound source was released as a press CD, even during the 1983 tour. It's the ultimate audience source! In addition, the slightly faster pitch of the original sound has been accurately corrected. Ian Gillan, who has a passionate rock soul, and BLACK SABBATH, who are the epitome of heaviness, have combined to create a special live performance that can only be seen at this time, so please enjoy this volume-filled album. As a sister edition of the masterpiece "NEVER AGAIN" which also includes 3 tour performances, this work is a must-listen for everyone from hardcore enthusiasts to light fans!
