From the disbandment tour “THE END”, a live album that can be called “East Coast Trilogy” and “Just like “VOL.4”” is now available. Along with Europe, the United States is the home of rock recording. “THE END” is the best recording from all over the world, but in terms of quality and quantity, the number one is still North America. This is familiar to us every time, but this time too let's get an idea from the tour outline. ・January-March 2016: North America leg #1 (18 performances) ・April 2016: Oceania leg (7 performances) ・June-July 2016: Europe leg (17 performances) ・August 2016- September : North America leg #2 (19 performances) ←★Coco★・November-December 2016: North America #3 & South America leg (11 performances)・January-February 2017: Germany + UK leg (9 performances)《BLACK SABBATH disbanded》 In this way, “THE END” North American tour was divided into three “North American legs #1-3” for a total of 41 performances. It accounts for about half of “THE END”. Currently, “North American Leg #2” has just ended, and this work is an audience album that includes “August 23, 2016 Holmdel Performance”. This work is a wonderful live album, but it is also a recording that has the nickname “East Coast Trilogy” among collectors. To understand the meaning, check the surrounding dates as well. ・August 17th Wantagh performance (first day of North America #2) ・August 19th Camden performance ・August 21st Bristow performance “BRISTOW 2016” ・August 23rd Holmdel performance ← [This work] ・August 25th Mansfield Performance “MANSFIELD 2016” August 27th Uncasville performance The above are the first 6 performances of “North American leg #2”. In this part, we take a thorough tour of each city on the east coast of the United States. Until now, we have delivered masterpiece recordings such as “BRISTOW 2016” and “MANSFIELD 2016” from “North America #2”, but this work is a stage in between. Although it is a recording that came out late after some time has already passed from the live performance, it is an East Coast recording following the intense “BRISTOW 2016” and “MANSFIELD 2016”, and it is also 3 performances in a row. Of course, other performances have also appeared, but these three performances are the only ones that stand out, and some collectors have respectfully asked, ``Is the East Coast amazing again!?'' ” is starting to be called. This work is a wonderful recording suitable for the last piece of the trilogy. If you have listened to ``BRISTOW 2016'' and ``MANSFIELD 2016'', you can expect that this time will be amazing, but the quality of this work betrays that (in a good way). Although the quality ranking itself is comparable to the previous two works, the feel of the sound is very unique. As usual, it is a musical sound with a lot of direct feeling that is suitable for being called "as if it were a sound board", but this work is particularly transparent, and the extension of the treble is wonderful. It's like a sparkling sound. In fact, most of the "THE END" recordings so far have had sections where "heavy bass" is the theme. The image of ``SABBATH = Dohevi'' was strong all over the world, and recorders from all over the world tended to be biased towards ``how to record heavy bass sounds fat and rich.'' However, it seems that the recording artist for this work was aiming in a direction different from such a public image, and finished with a bright sound that emphasizes the "sharpness of the riff." This enhances the sense of transparency, and even though it is part of the "East Coast Trilogy," it has a very different personality from the other two works. “THE END”, drawn with that bright sound, makes you listen to a show with the sharpest edge ever. To be honest, I can't say it's for those who want to pursue Geezer Butler, but that doesn't mean that the bass is the main character! Rather, it has a normal balance that is not too heavy, and while the bass roars firmly, the sharpness of Tony Iommi's riff and Ozzy Osbourne's singing voice stand out. Well, rather than the heaviness of ``Black Sabbath'' or ``Paranoid,'' it has a slightly more ``VOL.4''-like nuance. In fact, this work's "Snowblind" is truly amazing! Adam Wakeman's mellotron, which tends to disappear after a while, resonates firmly, and the 70's mood spreads all at once. Also, Ozzy's strong voice, which sings well even on higher melodies than other songs, feels strangely good! I'm sure you'll discover a variety of things to listen to from this album, but "Snowblind" is my favorite, as it's such a live album. Even after this “East Coast Trilogy”, recordings have been received from various places, but they are not good enough. In fact, about 10 performances were unsuccessful, and the next best sound source had to wait until “OAKLAND 2016”, which was released simultaneously this week. That's why this "East Coast Trilogy" is a collection of standout albums that have solidified and jumped out. This is the last album to complete the masterpiece trilogy, and is a live album with a dazzling bright sound that even reminds us of "VOL.4." Another unique masterpiece that jumped out from “THE END”. Live at PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel, NJ. USA 23rd August 2016 TRULY PERFECT SOUND Disc 1(58:14) 1. Black Sabbath 2. Fairies Wear Boots 3.
