BLACK SABBATH, which was born in 1968, has finally begun to move toward its end. Introducing a super powerful video of "THE END", a breakup tour in which Ozzy Osbourne himself declares, "This is really the last time. Believe me." This work was filmed at the “Minneapolis performance on January 25, 2016.” This week, the live album “CHICAGO 2016” will be released on the second day of the tour, but this work is an audience shot that contains the entire third day of the tour. The quality is terrifying. This work contains footage from two cameras, and “RECORDER 1”, which contains the main one, was shot from the right side of the stage (Geezer Butler side). There is no doubt that the latest equipment was used to create the extremely clear hyper-digital image quality, and the video, which was shot from a relatively close distance on the second floor and made extensive use of zoom, is extremely beautiful, with every single strand of Ozzy's curly hair shining. Beautiful. The arms and heads of those in the front row are not included, and the image that can be described as a "one-camera professional shot" continues on and on, filling the entire screen. Seeing the giant figures of Ozzy and Tony Iommi on a big screen TV is so impressive... To be honest, zooming is used so much that I find myself saying, ``I could pull it back even more.'' The sound that doesn't give up even half a step to that beautiful screen is also exquisite. The clear sound is close to the wonderful "CHICAGO 2016", and if this was a full-length recording, it could be released with just the audio. The solemn and powerful scene of “THE END” drawn with that quality is overwhelming. Whether it's Sabbath or solo, Ozzy always raises the mood with elaborate images before the show begins, but this time's profound images even pale in horror movies. A grotesque monster is born and the band's logo bursts into flames as it destroys the entire metropolis. After a sinister mood was spread, the curtain fell with the solemn sound of the bell announcing "Black Sabbath", and BLACK SABBATH appeared. Then, as Ozzy spreads his arms like a priest, the huge crowd erupts all at once... What an evil and dramatic opening! This mood cannot be conveyed, no matter how great the live album is, no matter how many words you use here. It is an overwhelming moment when the reality of “THE END” suddenly unfolds before your eyes. Such a powerful “RECORDER 1” contains most of the live performance, but up to “Under The Sun/Every Day Comes And Goes”. The final stage of the show was recorded in “RECORDER 2”. “Under The Sun/Every Day Comes And Goes”, which was also seen in “RECORDER 1”, is recorded again, and the climax “Dirty Woman”, “Paranoid” and “Children Of The Grave” are all at once. This is a distant shot from the front of the stage, slightly to the right (closer to Iommi), giving you a bird's-eye view of the entire stage. It is a video that clearly shows the hugeness of the stage, which I did not notice in "RECORDER 1" which was full of extreme zooms. What you can finally see here is how cool the stage design is. The “BLACK SABBATH REUNION TOUR 2013-2014” accompanying the blockbuster hit “13” had a stage set with a mysterious design, but this time it was dignified and simple. Amplifiers are lined up in an almost inorganic manner, and an even larger screen is enshrined there. The gigantic screen and lighting create an impressive performance that focuses on the band itself, without adding unnecessary images. It's a look befitting the end of a legendary band. How cool... Also, the sound of this “RECORDER 2” is strangely cool. Featuring a sharp guitar sound and a pounding bass, it's truly "savage." To be honest, the clarity is definitely not as good as "RECORDER 1", but you will be overwhelmed by the powerful sound that makes you feel as if you have learned about the values of pure audio. To be honest, there are some cuts between songs and in “War Pigs” and “Children Of The Grave,” but at this point it is an outstanding masterpiece video. In any case, this is the perfect book to learn about and experience the sights of the giant BLACK SABBATH's last tour, which has finally begun. I hope that there will be a miraculous return to Japan, and I would love to see this scene in person. While keeping that prayer in your heart, please burn this beauty into your eyes now!
