The final tour "THE END" has finally come to an end. This week, the live album "BIRMINGHAM 2017 THE FINAL", which contains the final performance, that is, the "last BLACK SABBATH" (said) concert, will be released, and the best professional shot, which will be "another last", will be released. What is "another last"? It is the last performance of the "original four", including Bill Ward. As you know, Bill did not participate in the reorganized BLACK SABBATH from 2012, and that did not change until "THE END". So when was the "last of the original four"? The answer is "2005". This work is a television video of that last performance captured with a multi-camera professional shot. Is this really the last of the "original four", let's first look back at the history of the reorganization era.・1997: OZZFEST ’97 (without Bill) ・December 1997: 2 shows in Birmingham, “REUNION” ・1998: OZZFEST ’98 (without Bill) ・1999: World tour 《2000: No activity》 ・2001: OZZFEST 2001 tour 《2002-2003: No activity》 ・2004: OZZFEST 2004 tour ・2005: OZZFEST 2005 tour 《2006-2010: After Heaven & Hell》 ・2011: Original reunion (press conference) ・2012: Iommi falls ill + 3 shows (without Bill) ・2013-2014: “13” release + tour (without Bill) 2015: No activity 2016-2017: “THE END” tour (without Bill) This is the 20 years since the reunion. Bill accompanied them on the 1997 “REUNION” and 1999-2005 tours, but they have not performed live since then. For this reason, many enthusiasts believe that “OZZFEST 2005” was the “last of the original four”, but in fact they performed only once after that. That is “November 16, 2005”, which is included in this work. This day was not a regular concert, but an awards ceremony for the British version of the “Rock and Roll Hall of Fame”. On the day of the ceremony, the award-winning BLACK SABBATH also performed a special performance. The scene was broadcast. This work is a professional shot. Of course, the quality is perfect only for professional shots from the 2000s. This work starts with a speech by Iommi’s old friend Brian May. May's speech is deep because he has been deepening his friendship with Iommi regardless of the era. The story goes back to 1964 before the formation and talks about the history of SABBATH. Not only the original four, but also Ronnie, Ian Gillan, Tony Martin, Cozy Powell, Neil Murray, etc. are mentioned, and even RARE BREED is mentioned. After that, an introductory film in which famous people talk about the band's achievements is played, but May is on a different level. He writes deep words because they are "long-time friends" who have survived together in the same music industry. Invited by May, the most anticipated last stage begins. It is "Paranoid" with the riff of "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath" as the intro. This is the only song performed that day, and Ozzy's singing is also a shaky performance. However, this is the last appearance of the "legendary four". You can witness it with the best multi-camera pro shot. This work also includes two bonus videos. First, "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Band on the same day. In fact, it was not only BLACK SABBATH that was inducted into the British version of the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame" at this time, but Ozzy also received the award individually. The presenter here is Angus Young. Unlike May, he read a short script, but it can't be helped...or rather, May is too strong. Next, they play "Crazy Train" with Zakk Wylde, but Ozzy is in better shape than BLACK SABBATH. Even though he didn't think it was the "last", he wanted them to sing "Paranoid" properly...It's a song that even makes you feel resentful. And the second bonus video is the press conference on "November 11, 2011". There was no live performance on this day, but the "original four" declared their reunion. After this, Bill left, and this was the last time the four of them stood in public. In this work, we recorded it with the best professional shots broadcast on "REVOLVER.TV". Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler... and Bill Ward. Just listing their names makes your spine stand up straight. Even if BLACK SABBATH were to return and resume touring, it would be difficult for Bill to return. In fact, during the reorganization with Bill, they could only do short tours, whereas HEAVEN & HELL and BLACK SABBATH, who had given up on Bill, carried out large-scale world tours and even came to Japan. Although Bill himself insists that "I can tour. I just don't want to participate as a guest," the reality is that he has been living in semi-retirement for 12 years since "OZZFEST 2005" and has not performed any live shows. Unfortunately, I can only think that Ozzy's words "He can't tour" are true. That's why I want to witness the last appearance of "those four." This work is a masterpiece that fulfills that wish with the finest professional shots. Now that BLACK SABBATH is about to leave, this is a must-see.
