Reunion SABBATH since 2001 has been full of ups and downs. That's all I can say. The rumored ``new album for 2001'' did not materialize because Ozzy prioritized his solo and television activities, and Ozzy was seriously injured in an accident that occurred at the end of 2003. Afterwards, Ozzy (truly miraculously) recovered and went on tour with SABBATH again in 2004, but at first it was announced that "Mike Bordin would be joining in on drums," and there were troubles similar to those of SABBATH today. (It was also on this 2004 tour that Rob Halford served as a substitute for only one performance due to Ozzy's illness). This 2005 tour was achieved for the second consecutive year by overcoming those difficulties. SABBATH's European tour, which began in June, started with the Aylesbury, England performance on June 6th, and continued for a total of 15 performances, participating in festivals in various places, and ending with the Bergen, Norway performance on July 9th. I got it. The 9th performance of the tour recorded in this work, the Athens, Greece performance on June 25th, was performed at the "Rock Wave Festival", and is a must-have that has received great support and high praise from fans since then. It's an item. This 2005 live show also includes a professional shot video of the "Download Festival", but the image and sound quality of this work is even better than that. This video, which makes full use of the leaked master from the people involved, has a bit of a lack of cheer from the audience, so the content is different in terms of the realism you would expect from a live performance, but it was shot digitally from the beginning with professional spec equipment, giving it a distinct edge. The clearness is of undisputed official quality. The live performance was accurately captured with impeccable professional techniques, such as on-target camera angles and well-thought-out switching, and from the opening song "N.I.B.," the show directly conveyed the sense of big scale that Reunion SABBATH possessed. I'll tell you. There are many highlights from the first half, such as ``After Forever'' where the blue lighting in the intro turns into a dazzling white light as the song enters, and ``War Pigs'' where the stage is illuminated in red and gives off a poisonous feel. Iommi and Geezer's heavy riffs that approach your ears are at full power in "War Pigs" and the medley of "Symptom Of The Universe", "Sweet Leaf", and "Electric Funeral" in the middle. All fans should be thrilled by this! Also, in the intro of "Into The Void", Iommi imitates Ozzy's laughter on the guitar, showing a bit of playfulness, which is interesting. The highlight of this video is definitely “Black Sabbath”. The intro is filled with the eerie sound of rain and the sound of bells, and the countless lighter lights flickering in the audience directly evokes an evil mass or a black magic Sabbath. It's understandable that Ozzy can't help but call this fantastic sight "beautiful." Ozzy's performance on this day was also decent, and the overall flow was more stable than at "Download Festival", where the condition was another one. Although his fatigue is evident in the final song "Children Of The Grave," we can accept him as a lovable character, including scenes like this where his expression contradicts his "emperor" expression. Another big feature of this video is that you can listen to "Changes" which plays as an outro S.E. after the performance ends. Like "Robin Hood," which was used on the 1999 tour, this song, which is rare as an outro, can be heard clearly and clearly, just like the live audio. "Changes" was cut). It's a small detail, but the fact that even the "jubako ink" is delicious is proof of the quality ingredients! This video, in which everything unfolds before the eyes of the viewer, from the music to the MC to the performance, is the best live footage of a reunion SABBATH live performance. This is a must-see material for metal fans. Along with the best line sound source "BOTTOMLES PIT", please have the original SABBATH performance full of true charisma and presence all to yourself!
