Introducing a CD coupled with the soundboard live performance of “BLACK SABBATH meets Ian Gillan”! This work, which is different from the recently made official Reading Festival and the famous album "CAPTURED ALIVE", contains the 1983 French and German performances, and is a can't-miss event for both BLACK SABBATH and Ian Gillan fans! The soundboard sound source of the "BORN AGAIN" tour, which has been released as a collector's item so far, includes the "Reading Festival" on August 27, 1983, which was the virtual debut stage of Gillan SABBATH, as well as the best live performances of the same year. Takamine, known for his ``CAPTURED ALIVE'' (Import Title), performed in Worcester, Massachusetts on November 4, 1983, and recently released an upgraded version of ``PARIS LINE TAPES'' on September 30, 1983. Three performances in Paris, France. Each of these has been familiar to fans as a staple of '83 live performances in the UK, America, and Europe, but when compared with the official "Reading Festival" and "CAPTURED ALIVE", which boasts a sound quality that exceeds the official one. , the sound board sound source for the Paris performance had a slightly cracking and noisy sound quality, so I have always been content to be treated as the "third place". The sound quality of the Paris performance, which has been known so far, is a characteristic from the master stage, and even in the upgraded version (although it was much easier to listen to than the past titles), there was no essential change. For this reason, even among enthusiasts it was thought that "no better sound quality could be expected," but this time, we succeeded in discovering another master for the Paris performance, again through a secret route overseas! This is a new line source that differs from conventional sound sources such as "PARIS LINE TAPES" in terms of its fundamental material. It has a natural sound that does not feel excessively equalized, is easy to listen to without noticeable cracking or distortion, and has a well-balanced sound. , In addition to the sound quality, "Iron Man", which was cut and not included in previous similar sound sources, is also included (albeit short). The quality that is sure to be the best ever in every respect will amaze any SABBATH enthusiast! The difference between the existing sound source and this work is clear when you listen to and compare the opening songs "Children Of The Grave" and "Hot Line", and while the power and weight of the edgy sound are the same, the sound is so different that it can be said to be completely different. The symmetry has improved. The encounter between the metallic yet heavy and doomy sound typical of SABBATH and the classic 70's hard rock texture since the second DEEP PURPLE is emphasized as much as ever in the third song "War Pigs". The listeners should be able to realize the good chemistry between Gillan and SABBATH even now. In the following songs, "Supernaut" and "Rock 'N' Roll Doctor," Gillan's essence as a rock'n'roller creates a chemical reaction with Iommi's heavy riffs, creating a unique musical sound that is light yet thick and powerful. The first half of this live show is a listen that feels like the "clash of different personalities" that was the charm of "BORN AGAIN" was made into a sound. From this point onwards, towards the latter half of the live performance, SABBATH's unique heaviness is greatly strengthened, inviting the listener to the dark side. The listening point in the middle, “Disturbing The Priest”, along with the “Supernaut” and “Rock ‘N’ Roll Doctor” medley, is actually the only line sound source from this Paris performance at the moment. It is a big advantage of this sound source that you can listen to songs that cannot be heard even on "Reading Festival" or "CAPTURED ALIVE" with the best sound ever. The following “Iron Man” is the first appearance part that could not be heard in previous same-day sound sources. The powerful intro, where Bev Bevan's heavy drums are covered by Iommi and Geezer's heavy riffs, is full of power and majesty that will make SABBATH fans squirm. Unfortunately, the scene fades out in the middle of the song and shifts to Iommi's guitar solo (which is probably why the song was cut from the previous release), but this scene has excellent stability and sound quality. The significance of the excavation can be said to be very significant. Furthermore, the explosive performance of "Digital Bitch" led by the guitar solo knocks out the listener with an energy that can only be described as Guillain SABBATH! For the encore, Gillan was once again in the spotlight, and the live performance closed with the super-heavy “Smoke On The Water” and the rushing “Paranoid.” Following the main part, this work includes 3 bonus tracks, the highlights of the Böblingen performance in Germany, which took place on September 28th just before the Paris performance, with a soundboard sound source that is also appearing for the first time. Although there is an excellent audience recording of this Böblingen performance, the sound board sound source was only known among some enthusiasts. This bonus track is also made directly from the master newly discovered overseas, and includes "Black Sabbath", which was not recorded in the Paris performance, as well as the encores "Smoke On The Water" and "Paranoid", which are not as good as the main part. You can enjoy the sound quality. In particular, Gillan's insane screams and vulgar laughter that can be heard in "Black Sabbath" have an overwhelming presence, and perfectly depict a "devil image" that is different from Ozzy's creepiness and Ronnie's dignity. If you're a fan, you won't want to miss listening to the bonus until the end! The sound source environment for BLACK SABBATH when Ian Gillan was a member has improved in recent years, and as the band's appeal has become more well-known, the tone of opinion such as "mismatch" and "staining SABBATH's reputation" as in the past has disappeared. It's starting to fade into the background. This sound source is a fulfilling line source that you should listen to now that Guillain SABBATH is being reevaluated. In the true sense, the definitive soundboard sound source in Europe from the same year, which stands alongside the Worcester performance at the “Reading Festival” and the American tour, is here!
