"TYR TOUR 1990" ended in a bubble while emitting the ultimate brilliance. Another masterpiece live album that conveys the scene is born. This work contains "Senden performance on October 10, 1990". It is a scene from the German tour shortly after East and West unification. Germany on the TYR tour is truly a treasure trove of famous sound sources. We delivered masterpieces such as "INNSBRUCK 1990" and "ST. WENDEL 1990", and the famous album "MARTIN YEARS", which was the first report of the TYR tour in Japan, was also recorded in Germany (Böblingen performance). It was a miraculous tour where a master turned the recorder every night. First of all, let's take a look at the overall picture of the tour to see what kind of position Germany was in. {August 6th "TYR" released} ・September 1st-13th: UK (10 shows) ・September 25th-October 2nd: Italy (6 shows) ・October 3rd-6th: Switzerland (3 shows) ・October 8th + 9th: Austria (2 shows) ・October 10th-24th: Germany #1 (11 shows) ←★Here★ ・October 26th: Sweden ・October 27th: Denmark ・October 30th: Belgium ・October 31st: Norway ・November 1st: Netherlands ・November 3rd + 5th: Germany #2 (2 shows) ・November 7th: Luxembourg ・November 24th-28th: Germany #3 (4 shows) {December: Geezer Butler returns} This is an overview of the live shows related to "TYR". This time I tried to give a little more detail by country. It was a short tour only in Europe, but Germany has a particularly large number of shows. Perhaps "TYR" was so well received that a large-scale tour of 17 shows was held, visiting one country three times. And the main one was "Germany #1". All the masterpieces of Germany to date were born here, and the Senden performance of this work was the first day of the concert. The recording of this day has long been known among collectors, but this work is a new version that has been digitized from an analog master in recent years. The sound is an audience recording with a strong direct feeling. The masterpieces up to now have been amazing, so I'm not sure if I can declare it the top, but it will definitely be a number one candidate. At the beginning, the enthusiasm is vivid and it is clear that it is an audience recording, but there is no sense of distance and there is almost no venue sound. Although all the parts are vivid, the most amazing is Neil Murray's bass. Although it is exceptionally thick for an audience recording at that time, it is neither muddy nor clogged, and the various lines are drawn in detail. This is especially nice in the "TYR" era. After all, it was a time when the bass was recessed even in the essential studio works. Although they needed the rare master Neil, it was a waste of their treasure. However, Neil in this work dances wildly as if to wipe away such dissatisfaction (I don't know if there was any). It is not inferior to Geezer Butler's songs, but this work also has plenty of original "TYR" numbers by Neil himself. "The Sabbath Stones" with fretless obbligato, "The Law Maker" with a cool back melody that seems to be one with the attacking cozy, and "Anno Mundi" where the bass actually pulled the song itself ... Honestly, I didn't know he played such a complex and song-filled line. Even more decisive is Neil's solo time. The bass solo that develops in various ways with the intro phrase of "N.I.B." as a motif is extremely rare in the history of BLACK SABBATH, and the flow from there to the bluesy "Heart Like A Wheel" is also cool. You can enjoy the precious scenes that you can never experience on other tours with a thick sound. I ended up talking about the bass, but of course Iommi, Cozy and Martin are also solid. As the German recordings have proven, this work also approaches with a powerful force that is equal to or more than equal to the thick bass. The guitar solo that received Neil's solo is also jazzy and full of mood. Another great recording from Germany. This is the latest and best version. The truth about the most beautiful and majestic "TYR TOUR" in the history of BLACK SABBATH. A masterpiece that makes Germans envious.
