The “DEHUMANIZER World Tour” has been engulfed in the turbulence of the music scene and is said to be a “hidden tour” by music enthusiasts. A shocking new excavation live album that conveys the scene is now available. What is engraved in this work is “Paris performance on September 15, 1992”. It is a transcendental audience recording. What shocked me was the frightening quality of the sound. Speaking of the "DEHUMANIZER" era, the FM sound board from the Boston performance served as the official replacement, but it has an incredible sound that rivals that super famous sound board...or should I say, beats it!? That's it. Anyway, let's start with the show position. At our store, we are also familiar with FM Soundboard's highest peak edition "DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1992: PRE-FM MASTER", so let's check it out from the schedule at the time. [“DEHUMANIZER” released on June 22nd]・June 23rd – July 4th: South America (9 performances)・July 24th – August 9th: North America #1 (13 performances)←※DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1992・August 15: SUPER ROCK MANNHEIM appearance ・September 1-25: Europe (12 performances) ←★Coco★ ・October 12-November 13: North America #2 (24 performances)《November 13 : Ronnie leaves/replaced by Rob》・November 14th + November 15th: Appears at Ozzy's retirement performance This is BLACK SABBATH in 1992. Starting with their first South American tour, it will consist of two laps in North America and Europe. The Paris performance of this work is the 9th concert of the "European" leg. If “DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1992” is a representative work in North America, this work is a new masterpiece that is a representative work in Europe. [Superb sound that is even half a step inferior to official grade SBD] Now, on to the main topic. A transcendent sound that conveys such a show! Although the record of this show has been known for a long time, this work is the first recording that has been regretted only recently. Anyway, zero distance, close contact, extremely thick, super clear, extremely tight...it's tied with the famous sound board album "DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1992" in all the check items. I put my headphones on, closed my eyes, and searched with all my might for evidence of an audience recording, only to find that the snare tone sounded a bit like an audience recording... Strictly speaking, unlike “DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1992”, there is no sense of panning left and right, but on the other hand, the natural stereo feeling that is typical of the scene is delicious. Furthermore, the sense of reality of each instrument can be said to be more than a sound board. Because it's not directly connected to the line, you can feel the vibration of the skin on the drums, and if the bass is solid, the guitar will also be glaring. There is a sense of reality in which the deep bass makes the walls of the venue vibrate. Well, if I were to compare this feeling, the sound board version ``DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1992'' feels like your brain has become part of the PA equipment, whereas this work feels like a concert is being held inside your skull. It's a synchronized feeling where everything is absorbed into yourself, rather than being absorbed into the equipment. The biggest factor in achieving this sound is probably the recording artist's skill and equipment (the sister work "WINTERTHUR 1992" released at the same time is also the work of the same person), but the venue is also a key point. In fact, the Elysée Montmartre Theater, where the event took place, is a small venue with a capacity of approximately 1,400 people. In Japan, it's a little bigger than O-EAST, which is rare among BLACK SABBATHs in the world. The feeling of being in a closed room and being in close contact with each other makes for an extremely tight sound. Moreover, this work further brushes up that impact master. The original sound is of a super high quality that would amaze enthusiasts around the world, but there was a peculiarity in the treble, and the hi-hat and vocal sa line (sa-si-su-se-so) had a hard texture. In addition to pitch and balance, this work also treats those points. We pursued smooth and musical perfection to the utmost. [Full show with singer Ronnie's amazing singing] What is depicted with such transcendent direct sound is a full show where Ronnie's singing is amazing. The set itself is the same as "DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1992" and its sister work "WINTERTHUR 1992", so I will omit it, but the point is the ferocity of the performance that weaves the famous songs. Ronnie is especially strong. He was said to be a superhuman, but his voice is said to have lost its luster and strength around 2005, and even in the HEAVEN & HELL project, he never regained it. However, this work took place more than 10 years earlier, in 1992. Ronnie's singing voice is no different from his heyday, but rather seems to challenge the heyday of grunge. That's the power that could surpass the 80's. This Ronnie's explosive spirit and the profound sound that is unique to Sabbath. This is the meaning of “DEHUMANIZER Tour,” which is considered a hidden tour from sound source enthusiasts, which I introduced at the beginning. The story is a little off topic, but please remember “LONG BEACH ARENA 1975” from the “SABOTAGE Tour”. Yes, it's that super masterpiece by the master Mike Millard. Speaking of “SABOTAGE Tour”, even though Soundboard’s masterpiece “LIVE LONGEST... DIE AT LAST” has been famous for a long time, the taste and experience of the transcendent audience was tremendous, and it was a big hit at our store as well. . This work can be said to be the 1992 version of that. No matter how perfect the soundboard album “DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1992” is, this work is also great because it combines unparalleled sound quality and experience. Superb audience recording of "September 15, 1992 Paris Performance". Anyway, zero distance, close contact, extremely thick, super clear, extremely tight...it's tied with the famous sound board album "DEFINITIVE BOSTON 1992" in all the check items. The sense of reality of each instrument can be said to be better than that of a sound board, and it feels like a concert is being held inside your skull. Unlike the later HEAVEN & HELL project, this is a miraculous live album where you can experience a full show that sums up Ronnie's era with a singing voice that is the same as at its peak.
