“THE END” is the breakup tour that has caused an abnormal recording situation. Another intense live album has appeared. So far, we have reported on various masterpieces, starting with the 2nd performance "CHICAGO 2016", 2CD "WINNIPEG 2016", 4-disc set "COMPLETE M.S.G. 2016" and "KANSAS CITY 2016" at the venue, etc. This doesn't mean it's being released without a hitch. After careful selection, we have selected only exquisite recordings that cannot be thrown away. In fact, the super-abundance of "THE END" this time is extraordinary, with reports of a frightening number of super masterpieces one after another. Not only do almost all performances appear, but it is natural that there are two or three types of the same live. All of that is a press-grade sound. Such a rich harvest has never been seen in the long history of BLACK SABBATH, and it far exceeds “REUNION TOUR 2012-2014”. Of course, there have been advances in equipment, but as the name suggests, it clearly states "This is the last time", and the spirit of the tapers may be unusual. If the base of the pyramid is this wide, the top will naturally be high. If you have heard even one of the titles listed so far, you will know about its unusually high quality, but a new one has been added to that masterpiece lineup. This work is an audience album containing the "February 11, 2016 Inglewood performance". Currently, “THE END” has finished its first leg in North America in early March and is on a break until late April, but the first leg had a total of 18 performances. I can't list them all, so I'll just take a close look at the nearby dates... - January 30th - February 3rd (postponed due to Ozzy's sinus infection) - February 6th: Tacoma Performance DVD “TACOMA 2016” ・February 9: San Jose performance “SAN JOSE & DENVER 2016” ・February 11: Inglewood performance [this work] ・February 13: Las Vegas performance ・February 15: Denver performance ``SAN JOSE & DENVER 2016'' ・February 17th: Kansas City performance ``KANSAS CITY 2016'' ・February 19th: Auburn Hill performance...And so it goes like this. The "Inglewood performance" of this work is scheduled to fill in the gap between the already released "SAN JOSE & DENVER 2016" and "KANSAS CITY 2016". Each recording appeared immediately after the live performance, but the master of this work is a recording that appeared one step later. And the quality is great considering it's late. As expected, it is not a “surprise sound” like the Guinness class audience “WINNIPEG 2016”, but its clearness and direct feeling are at a level that would be enough to press immediately if it was another tour. There is no doubt that this is a recording from the audience seating as there are nearby voices in "Snowblind", but the quality of the thick sound that runs through the entire volume is at the sound board level. What's especially great is Geezer Butler's bass. In addition to rich bass, it has a strong, rubber-like dynamic feel. The reason why so many doom bands aspire to SABBATH's heavy sound but fail to reach it is probably because they lack this sense of dynamism. This work firmly captures the flavor of that bass sound. Of course, this work also has a wonderful balance of Ozzy Osbourne's suspicious singing voice and Tony Iommi's sharp riffs. What's more, the huge wave of cheers that spread behind them was amazing. The key is to be "in the background," and even when things are getting lively, they don't get in between the band and your home speakers, just embellishing the direct sound of the music. A chorus of 17,500 people follows Ozzy's straightforward vocals, creating a vast spectacle. There are moments where I wonder if the direction of the microphone has changed, so I can't say that it's "absolutely the strongest on earth!", but it's still a great recording that I can't bear to be buried in the darkness of history. . The first leg of “THE END”, which recorded a historic super-rich harvest. That schedule ended at the beginning of March, and Etrian Odyssey enthusiasts are currently working on the "mid-term summary of the last tour." This work is a “belated masterpiece” that came out of that. Even a live album like this is a CDR. It is also a piece that proves how abnormal the first leg of “THE END” is. I don't know if the good harvest will continue in the next Oceania leg in April and the European leg in June/July (of course, I hope it continues!), but this work is one where you can enjoy the current abnormal situation in real time. It must be a book. Why don't you thoroughly enjoy the "last" of BLACK SABBATH? Live at the Forum, Inglewood, CA. USA 11th February 2016 TRULY PERFECT SOUND Disc 1(56:59) 1. Intro. 2. Black Sabbath 3.
