The Black Crowes have announced their first visit to Japan in 17 years. A live album that allows you to fully experience their latest tour, including a complete reproduction of "Shake Your Money Maker", is now available. This work is recorded from the "Charleston performance on June 12, 2022". This is a superb audience recording. They recently released their first EP in 12 years, "1972", but on the road, they are in the middle of the 30th anniversary tour of "Shake Your Money Maker", which had been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. To get to know their recent situation, let's first review their current tour schedule and check the show's position. February 11th + 12th: Las Vegas (2 shows) May 1st-6th: North America #1 (3 shows) May 4th: EP "1972" released May 27th-July 24th: North America #2 (28 shows) ←★Here★ August 13th-29th: North America #3 (10 shows) September 21st-October 19th: Europe (17 shows) November 5th-8th: Japan (3 shows) This is the 2022 schedule that has been announced so far. Although they performed sporadically in the first half of the year, their full-scale tour activities began at the end of May after the release of "1972". This work was the fifth concert, which was the start of "North America #2". This work, which vacuum-packs such a show, is a powerful and neat beautiful recording. There is no sense of close contact that would be mistaken for a sound board, but the dynamism created by the extremely thick core and thick sound is wonderful. Of course, no matter how powerful it is, it will be a roaring sound, but this work is the exact opposite. The vibe of the sound is neat and tidy, and the feel is smooth. It is a beautiful recording that does not cause any chatter or cracking, and has a glossy feel that is irresistible without any sparseness. Such a glossy dynamic sound is depicted in the latest full show centered on the complete reproduction of the masterpiece "SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER". Of course, repertoire other than the album reproduction is also important, so let's organize the contents here. Shake Your Money Maker (10 songs in total) Twice as Hard/Jealous Again/Sister Luck/Could I Have Been So Blind/Seeing Things/Hard to Handle/Thick n Thin/She Talks to Angels/Struttin' Blues/Stare it Cold Others (7 songs) Southern Harmony: My Morning Song/Thorn in My Pride/Sting Me/Remedy Others: Ballad in Urgency/Wiser Time/Rocks Off ... and so on. The show starts with a complete reproduction of "SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER". As expected, the hidden track "Live Too Fast Blues/Mercy, Sweet Moan" is omitted, but all 10 regular songs are played at once in the same order. After that, it becomes the second part of the usual style, and the golden age is digested with a balance of four songs from the 2nd "THE SOUTHERN HARMONY" and two songs from the 3rd "AMORICA". And the final encore is fun time. They play different songs every night, and the song "Rocks Off" chosen on this day is a cover of THE ROLLING STONES. It is also a rare song from their latest EP "1972" that has only been played a few times. Although the timing has shifted due to the pandemic, the complete reproduction of the masterpiece "SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER" is still impressive, and the concentrated best that follows immediately after is also powerful. This is the latest live album that allows you to experience the full show with exquisite sound that will make you look forward to November. Not only as a "live version of SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER", but also as a perfect way to get in touch with their recent situation and prepare for their visit to Japan. An excellent audience recording of the "Charleston performance on June 12, 2022". The dynamism created by the extremely thick core and thick sound is wonderful. It is a beautiful recording that does not cause any chatter or cracks, and has a glossy feel that is not at all sparse. This is the latest live album that allows you to experience the full show of the 30th anniversary tour, centered around a complete reproduction of "SHAKE YOUR MONEY MAKER".
